I am on the draw at 28 and 23. a 100 bucks out of my mammoth 330 green.

On the draw at 50, layed half off at 21, letting the rest run for now.
By:
well done.
By:
Thanks, not sure if it is well done though. That was a pure gamble, thought the 50 was about the right price, but I think the market has not got the weather into the equation yet if the run lines are anything to go by.

By:
its always well done when you can cash out for profit. or partially.
We are now heading into the last 10 min before the break. The Jucel minutes. |
By:
Some interesting permutations available. If you think tomorrow is going to be rain affected, you can lay the run lines, say 325 at about 2.50 and back the draw on the outright at 12's. Danger is if there is a lot of play tomorrow. etc

well done to Matthews and Mendes. Gives the draw backers a glimmer of a chance.

excellent effort !!

Hi Blackcap the forecast has just been updated with the Met !!
By:
I know, I saw that.
By:
Jucel would be proud of that. If i remember him corectly, when he went on a rant before leaving, he talked about the batsmen's inability to play on a flat deck and saying therefore that there was no more value in backing draws.

what do you think ? i think much better for draw backers for now
![]() |
By:
About the same as far as I am concerned. A lot better than yesterday's "washout" but its still about what the commentary was saying. Maybe play till lunch and then its up to the rain. Ground does drain well for what its worth.

By:
the text reads better, rainfall will most likely be that misty rain you get in Wellington from memory
By:
Most of the times, its not the rain, but the threat of rain that we need for a profitabe trade backing the draw.
By:
The problem with Wellington is the mizzle !! brief rain not a problem as will clear up, the current levels of precipitation suggest it might be the low cloud scenario
By:
what do you think blackcap

need to bat two sessions !! then might have a free home run with a potential washout

Still got £13k on draw for now, although a lot programmed to lay off if we see 5s.
By:
i think you will make a good trade

I’m going to sleep now! Not ideal but you can’t follow everything.
By:
The rain in Wellington can be weird. Wellington itself can have a micro climate. Hard to really know what will happen. It can be fine at the Basin and raining north of the city in the hills which tend to hold the clouds. We shall see.

50/50 to last today and 50/50 a washout imo which makes 10s the draw decent value for me
