Agree. You do see some big first innnings scores at Trent Bridge but I'd make this a tough game for England to win: definitely could be done and could even be comfortable in the end but lots of potential to go wrong.

Not sure what to do about the draw. Price seems crazy short to me but could easily trade under 3s again if SA bats a session or more and England starts well.

Agree that England price doesn't reflect their chance of winning but unless SAF put on 400 or so, you'd think England price will be shorter when they start their 1st innings

Looking on the radar, seems like we will get very brief showers (5 min) in the morning, not sure if it will be enough to take them off the field.

Liked the interview Stuart Broad gave yesterday, very informative.
Basically said that when the sun's out, its a batters paradise but as soon as there's cloud cover, there's plenty in it for the bowlers.

I've not taken quite so definite a position but:

Eng £1k red
SA £2.3k green
Draw £2.8k green

I do have enough draw lays set up to go quite red.

If SA had had a 4th seamer in the last game, England would have subsided in that first innings. They lost their zip in the middle/evening session and Big Vern hasn't got great stamina. That put too much burden on Morkel and Rabada who should be used as strike bowlers. When England were 4 down before lunch, it was crying out for an extra seamer. Poor selection and they lost.

I've been solid in tests for ages, with the odd £5k loss on waterlogged pitches as an exception.

Draw crazy high given its overnight price. Called this wrong, even though I did lay fairly hard at 3.45 at close. Hoping for the two or three overs without a wicket dive in the draw.
