I think it's safe to say that KW's wicket is the key to who takes a first innings lead.

A result will depend on whether and how much it rains on Sunday. It looks like just a shower or two currently, and I still expect a result, but could be close and volatile.

I think the forecast for Sunday would keep draw in check.

Draw stayed surprisingly short after the wicket given NZ could be regarded as already 5 down here and 1 down second innings. Managed to improve my position a reasonable amount overnight by trading the draw ending up with a bit more on it than before which I was able to lay off early when the draw crashed.

Does this game need a day 5 to get a result? It's a little difficult to see one if no play on the final day given how decent a surface it is, although if there's enough cloud for swing tomorrow things could move on quite quickly.

Sure. The NZ price went out quite a bit though, possibly because he'd been scoring quite freely and a quick 30 or 40 from him would have moved the game along.

Arguably, yes. A quick scorer who might hang around for a bit but unlikely a long time batting for the side more likely to win is probably close to being a draw neutral wicket. NZ weren't that heavily favoured over SA though so you'd think him being out should push the draw out a bit as reduces the chances of them batting SA win out of the equation. It did go up a bit, to be fair.

I think I want wickets here as big red NZ, big green SA although I have enough on the draw that I don't too much mind a slow grind.

The market will go nuts if Williamson gets out, his wicket is absolutely vital.

Totally agree. He hasn't looked troubled so far though. I suppose that's the point, really.

It looks getting wicket here is pretty difficult..shows how good NZ bowled and how bad saffers batted..

Was just about to say, they've gone absolutely nowhere. This partnership is not much more than a run an over, with most of the runs today from Patel.

with the run rate this morning I would of expected the draw price to harden more.

I don't really agree. Neesham has looked very insecure and has been lucky to stay in there, with run scoring almost entirely absent.

It's a bit surprising, yes.  It does look a bit like a wicket may come soon though and I suppose them not scoring isn't making the SA win evaporate but it does make either side winning harder. I think the draw price has to crack soon so I've got some more draw at 3, looking to trade it out after a reasonable move. Oops.

Neesham reprieved? In a way I am too, although I think my overall position was better if the wicket fell, even though I've taken on a fair bit of draw recently.

Market and third umpire both unsure.
