Rashid bowled the biggest of pies and Imran whacked it for four

The only bets that win or lose are those placed on the "tied match" market, Detraveller.
It also affects the series score and potentially the series winner.

I always cover the tie if I have a nice green, havent tracked it but Im pretty sure I've made some money from it and also saves me the heartache of losing a big green on match odds

I know I won £1200 on it from one match and would have been destroyed if I hadnt covered that

Had a few tie stings in the past. I always cover it now, if I feel it's getting close.

Also saves you the worry if the match starts to get very close

NZ's best side in years getting hammered by one of Aus's weakest

When Morris was bowled the silence was deafening Laugh, number 11 coming in with 5 balls to face.

NZ likely to be facing 150 to 200 deficit Juce. Not likely to come back from that.

I like how you say "not likely". I use terms like that nowadays as some amazing things happen in this great game.
India were 1.01 here a few years ago & Sharma dropped a caught and bowled at about 100/5
Baz & BJ then went on to score gazillions and rewrite the records books

Today's game was magnificent. They were rocking in the stands like when ACDC played Buenos Aries

Interesting point.. umpires should stop calling no balls

Yes you can never be 100% sure where cricket is concerned. They could score 350 second innings and bowl Australia out on day 5.

Amazes me how Umps can call no balls anyhow

this looks really flat now, NZ should be able to bat at least 4 sessions. i think the draw will trade lower.
By:
wondersobright
When: 12 Feb 16 23:00
batting for 4 sessions won't be enough, they will need to bat for 2 full days minimum unless they concede just a small 3 figure 1st inns lead
By:
Foinavon
When: 12 Feb 16 23:00
Aus plenty low enough at 1.2. Any change in NZ price compensated by the draw price. Wickets would change the scenario though.
By:
DAN1974
When: 12 Feb 16 23:02
im not saying they will get a draw, i just think the pitch is flat enough now for them to bat 5 or six sessions so the draw price will come in.

everything is hitting the middle of the bat now, its hard to imagine a wicket at all. how long will Auz bat? what lead will they want?
By:
wondersobright
When: 12 Feb 16 23:08
so much time left in the game they will want as many as they can get
250 lead perfectly achievable and then new ball, scoreboard pressure etc pitches can look different
By:
DAN1974
When: 12 Feb 16 23:13
yeah, they will just bat, no weather no worries. they are going to be at least 250 on by the end of today with 3 days left.
By:
detraveller
When: 12 Feb 16 23:14
Surely they will be 250 ahead at the end of day today.
By:
jucel69
When: 12 Feb 16 23:16
They will not declare, period. Just keep batting all today and tomorrow until they are all out. Then leave NZ 2 days to bat, knowing they have the capacity to knock off any runs on the last day.

65 overs at 3 is 195 runs to add to lead of 46

Will there be any influence of the memory of Perth test?

i just hope NZ apply themselves better in the second innings, if they do, there are no worries on this pitch.

Different scenario but yeh it could enter their minds. That was a strange old pitch. I think there is something wrong with the balls in Aus, as much as the wickets. Nothing ever swings & the ball is soft/looks dishevelled inside 20 overs.
In that Perth game, there was a period with one of the (many) balls when Starc bowled 160 & it swung. Batting was treacherous for a short amount of time.

My position
NZ +1
AUs -1
Draw +8

Will see how it pans out. Good on you for getting the 15's on the draw Jucel. Still think Aus will win this one but the Basin pitch will flatten out and not deteriorate too much. Got plenty on the 300  and 325 run lines so happy with that possy.
