Hawkeye could be made to detect no balls.

I see Australia consolidated their position after a shaky start last night. Having no red and a little green I decided to lay NZ for now as they look like going well behind on first innings runs. Hoping to trade back the green on the draw later at a better price should the pitch go benign as widely predicted on here.

By:
Yeah I am laying NZ as well under 5's at this stage and buying AUstralia runs. Time will tell if this is the right strategy.
By:
NZ looks too short to me as well.

Tyco, what does a few showers in the north mean? Showers in the northern suburbs?
By:
like the draw here wellington pitch can give up lots runs after 1st day hope aussie bat the day out today.
By:
Correct pxb, that would be Johnsonville, Porirua, Petone etc. But that forecast is so far out, I would not put much faith in it.
By:
NZ still look short. Even if Aus only get a 100 run lead, I would expect NZ 3.00 Aus 1.50 or thereabouts (draw no bet)....
By:
That was interesting. NZ just went from 4.6 to 5.2 in a heartbeat... :)
By:
NZ blown out from 4.5 to 6s in no time.
By:
Thats it, profit taken on the trade.
By:
Hmm, missed that one. Less appealing a lay at 7 although not a ridiculous one: NZ look poorly placed indeed here.
By:
Yeah I thought it was really weird. Maybe ppl thought the overhead conditions would help NZ swing the ball today? But the ball is already quite a few overs old...
By:
Aus looking a bit short now. NZ could restrict the lead to less than 100 and they'd be well in the match.
By:
My draw trading has paid dividends in the last 30/40 overs. Got a small green on all results now which I couldn't imagine after the NZ inns.
By:
What was the trading like on the SA game last night, SA inns? Were SA short all the way or did England trade short?
By:
Lowest was 1.07 on England I think
By:
Morris skied a catch and all the snipers traded it into the 1.0s and then got stung when Rashid dropped it

Was very volatile stuff

Bobweenit had a "huge win", was funny reading his chat

SA went from 1.3 to about 2.4 when AB got out, was madness
By:
I can imagine. I lost on Eng runs and India runs so went to sleep with my tail between my legs.
Put an order in on this game @ 14/15 on the draw, woke up all matched and then laid @ 8.6 Cleared all my losses and a bit more! |

Happy days

It was a fascinating game Jucel, full of twists and turns with the possibility of a tie.
Was thinking that would mess up a lot of series score bets if it came about. |
By:
No matter what happens the Kiwis are going to have to bat for 2 days.
By:
Sorry that I ask this question again but my question went unanswered during the SA game.
Its a tie, and you are, say, 100 green on both teams. You definitely lose the 100 that you had on either team. But do you also lose all your stake? Because each and every bet you had placed to get to a green position has been lost. |

NZ comms still talking about that no ball zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
By:
Thanks juce.
Yeah that noball was quite crucial. The market would have been pretty different overnight. |
By:
Juce, SA needed 1 to win and Morris got out. Scores were then level with 9 wickets down
By:
Almost the most epic of ties

And then immi boy entered the arena...
