They obviously have a plan to get rid of Piet. I like this Bayliss! But Compton should leave it to Hales. Compton should work on turning over the strike as opposed to big hitting.

jesus whats he had for lunch

Compton's gangsta.

Commentators getting their noses rubbed into it by the excellent Compo.
If they did any homework at all, they would see his strike rates are very healthy indeed. List 'A': 78.8 T20 : 114 First Class: 47 |

Bayliss looks to have turned an average and some better than average bunch of Test Players into a very good unit. We are good in England, useless in the sub-continent, but playing well in this series

How low will the draw go?
By:
..and at what price would you be willing to back SA? They are now at 5.1
By:
what 1st inns total by Eng guarantees they don't lose this test(given anything could happen in the 2nd inns)?...450+

England 113/1, Wright a cracking ton & Willey 3/19. What's going on??

I wouldn't give Bayliss too much credit. We've got a lot of excellent players who are maturing all the time.
Wood, Vince and Plunkett would walk into this Saffer side. Bayliss and Cook were both quick to give support to Moores in the Summer. |

Annoyed I had to use some of my England Green to Cover the Draw especially as I don't think it will be a Draw but can't afford to be wrong.

By:
The draw drop has stalled, time to cash out and wait for a while.
By:
today's SA side is a poor imitation of their powerhouse sides of yore
By:
off 2 watch cardiff turn over blackburn
so sitting on my SA lay for a bit |
By:
Market very flat
By:
Might see another price crash on SA with that wicket, during tea
By:
Shame about that was sitting pretty there, still am but could do with England batting SA out of this game
I'd say England are in a very strong position and they need to hammer it home now. Would like to see the draw go odds on so I can lay it back and then slam into England. The pitch will be bone dry before the end of the game. I expect SA to bat well so will be patient before I buy into England but for me as long as this session goes well for England there is only one winner although I am over heavy on the draw right now. I hope the ball does not swing after tea at this ground |
By:
WD - just hope we don't get silly cameos fom the lower order.
England need to go big.. |
By:
SA 4.5 into 3.9
By:
Can hardly believe how much the market reacted to Compton, as if he was a England's GUN bat.
By:
There you go...
By:
If anyone doubts that we need a Compton in this side, that shot from Taylor proves why.
By:
I may Red Out for small loss on all 3 outcomes after what has happened just before and just after tea. :-(
By:
I think sit tight for now as SA have to bat last. Those two wickets have destroyed my colour scheme but still not too far behind here. Confident England will prevail but not in their ability to screw up this innings!
By:
sounds like most of us are in the same boat, i was nicely green after trading the draw then layed SA just before the compton wicket. still slightly in front but need to be patient and hope England can post 350.
By:
I've greened out for now. I can't call this session or these prices at all. New ball to come.
By:
England well on top IMO - and who wants to bat 4th on here?
By:
By:
England run line 413 with lad
By:
The only certainty is there are no certainties!
By:
was moaning id missed the 3.5 lay on SA, glad I did
By:
It's just so hard to call.
Careless from England. |
By:
run line 361
By:
I think England will struggle up to around 350 mark.
By:
what price SA if England do post about 350 ?
By:
Draw price is crazy. Anyone else think it's now on the very low side. I just can't stop laying it.
