Pak batting draw into 2.6. Which looks rather short to me.

yes, looks to have over shot. Nice movement from 3.8 to 2.6.
Took the profit on that & now looking to lay the draw for the first 30 mins or so.

I was about to say Eng need wickets with the new ball, otherwise they will be out of this match.

The surface looks loose to me.

Damn it, up in time to toy with greening out at 2.8 then too slow because the wicket fell. Amazed how much the draw has moved down from its peak despite an early wicket though. I don't really buy that Pak batting ought to bring the draw in so much. Anyway, I've got shot of some draw at 3.15, put some more down at 2.74 and am going back to bed for a bit.

The tyranny of timezones. Those of us ahead of the sub-continent can trade at our leisure pre-play.

Odds very static since the wicket: I know not that many runs have been scored but you'd think the draw would come in at least a bit. Market waiting for something to happen?

It often does this, stays at a certain point for 20 mins then drops 20 ticks quickly. It's to do with the symbiotic link with the bookies' odds

* god knows where the "symbiotic" part of that sentence came from. Bloody auto correct
By:

Actually, 'symbiotic' was exactly the right word.

I usually use symbiotic in relation to living organisms

Good morning Ladies,

Symbiotic has been added to my dictionary and is my word for the day!

England going to lose.

As I was saying England are very much in this if they can post a decent lead!

Pak 1 down at lunch and it's slipping away from England. Their spinners aren't in the same class as Pakistan's IMO.

Interesting one of the commentators mentioned that Paks were playing the white man to the English seamers hoping to keep their wickets for an onslaught on the spinners. If they go after the spinners on this pitch they may well come up short.

Staying out of the gambling arena. No idea of what is going on this morning. Lay the draw!

Yeh, no way this lasts anywhere near 5 days

Juce draw went sub 4's briefly.

I had a small dart.

Good point on the radio....

How did Ab de Villiers end up playing for South Africa? Someone at the ECB Scouting Department not doing their job properly?

Having been back asleep I was about to ask why the hell the draw had gone out when the score suggests it should have shortened. Suppose I will have to accept getting my cash on it at 4 then, when I was so pleased to have backed it just under that pre game thinking I'd lay it back. Odd thing cricket betting. At least I got most laid off at 3.15

turning sideways apparently, slogger.
By:
Whisperingdeath
When: 01 Nov 15 08:45
I dont htink it is going sideways. Just spinning like on a worn pitch before lunch on day 1 of a test match. The game surelay can'tlast 5 days. the question is who is backing the draw?
By:

why on earth would you bowl Stuart Broad after linch on a spinning wicket? Captain Cook!
By:

When: 01 Nov 15 08:53
I wonder if that was Cook, Bayliss or Broad!
