For you Grant...

The only thing the toss didn't effect right now, is who would be batting right now.  If Aus won the toss and sent England in, they would of course be batting now, just as Aus are...  LoveLove

That was poor batting, you are taught to play with bat and pad together, now if it had hit the pad there would have been a big shout, but the ball would have probably hit him outside the line of off stump

Bit pissy here.  Was looking at a 5 hour session to try and grind out 200 or so.  Looking at 1200 green now, but can't trade out because they are massive unders.  Main rule is only bet on overs, whether it opening trade or closing.  Would really love to go to bed, but now feel 1600 is more likely.......

Aussies a bit short of seamers and Lyon is out of the game, unless Australia score big 2nd time around.

The Aussie batsmen are in now. Could reach 250 yet.

thanks for that bjt.
juice i am not thinking, necessarily of england players, to get my wording right i mean english county players. i know lots have played grade cricket but none at state level. i think it would be good for their development. interesting that rogers has been solid and hes played more first class cricket here than in aus. it does look like they are all playing too much T20.
extras still top scorer!
i know i am after timing but here goes anyway. i was listening to tms before the start and the bbc weatherman said it would only be cloudy until lunch. i thought why not reverse the batting order??? mind you, there is just no application from their batsmen

That is the biggest pisstake.  Haddin taking out the drinks.  Only reason he was out of the team was because his daughter was not well.  The whole mantra of Aus cricket has been family first.  He takes time off for his well documented daughter illness (if illness is the right word), and he can't get back in the team.
Absolute joke.  He should have been straight back in, and then if needed to be dropped, then dropped.  To lose his spot in the team because of family dramas, is absolutely ridiculous, and very poorly handled.

Maybe for Grant again?

The reason Aus players can play county cricket, is because England need to fill their team and can't do it with English players.  Once you are selected to county level, you receive citizenship and eligibility for international cricket for England.

Aus have yet to be need to fill their spots.  Although, strategies may change soon.....  Love
