If you know you are out, you walk.  Terrible sportsmanship jucel.  Zero respect for non walkers.

At the end of the day, you get out what you put in.  Believe it or not, the energy you put out decides your future.

Stokes plays the game fair, and will be rewarded from that, whether from the systems in place, or just his life, which I assume he plays the same way.

Thanks DS.I still think the slight weather risk makes a F/O a sensible choice. England could easily collapse in their second dig with their current mindset.BJT - in your scenario I'd maybe scale out and reduce a proportion of my loss. Then if the odds slowly move back to where they were put the same position back on and trade out again on the next wicket. I get the feeling Aus odds won't go much lower then 1.25 even if Eng get all out so maybe there's also short-term trading lay with limited downside.

Yeah traded out for a small loss on the day.  Will re enter on the new ball for a speculative bet and see what happens.
Still got half a litre of JD beside me so play time still well on....

Hard to fancy the tail against MJ, he looks to be bowling pretty well, short stuff and toecrushers should do the trick, I think Moheen should be taking the strike.

Have layed Oz. Assuming they bat again and bat close to tea tomoz, we could see the draw coming in.

Good fight back by England, thought they would be all out by tea but proved me wrong. If these two can hang around for a while after tea Australia backers will start getting twitchy again.

i asked the question earlier: what's the minimum price on australia if they set england something impossible to get in 5 sessions with no weather.

i came up with 1.4, now that's obviously too big, but surely they can't go lower than 1.3.

Moeen due to lose his wicket very soon as per Moeen. If he can avoid it and stay in then England might just avoid the follow on
By:

When: 18 Jul 15 16:06
10/1 clarke enforces it anyway
By:

i can actually only assume that's why the market is the way it is: it's factoring in the f/o at much shorter odds than i am.
By:

seeing as england are a batshit crazy 23-1.

Would be a moral victory for England avoiding the follow on and hopefully put them n path to get a draw out of this. Would be a huge blow for the Aussies not to win this.

Bat **** crazy indeed, but as Aus were 5/2 to chase 411 on an uneven pitch, what price Eng to chase 520 from 130 on a flat one?

Moeen out as predicted.

Still rate him as a batsmen though. He should open get his 30 odd runs and see off the new ball, retire hurt and then come back at number 8 and get another 30 odd.
By:
BJT
When: 18 Jul 15 16:18
Absolutely.  Prices will take that into account though.  Aus will dangle a carrot though no doubt, no matter how small a nibble.

Still gobsmacked by people thinking Aus will bat again. We're only a couple of hours from stumps now. Clarke will think we'll do what we can, get a good nights rest and come back tomorrow fresh. He would be mad not to enforce the follow on. If he doesn't, he'll bat for at least until tea tomorrow and then give themselves just over a day on a crap pitch to take another 10 wickets.
By:

When: 18 Jul 15 16:25
They won't bat til tea.  Not a chance in hell.

and if england are 80/0 tonight with the shine off the new ball, then what?

clarke could be looking at chasing 150 on your crap pitch....

That top order will be at least a couple down by stumps if they go again in the next 20 minutes.
