surely they'll try and have 2 cracks with the new ball before and after tea. west indies ain't getting anywhere this
By:
well done alastair. that's a pretty good declaration.
only thing i'd say is that it might have been a nice idea to have given broad a knock in front of jordan given his mental problems. |

By:
cook telling jimmy what field he's having....
my goodness, FINALLY, some signs of a backbone.... |

Two poor/average sides on a wicket not helping bowlers, all 3 results possible, but because they are poor sides, the draw the most likely result from here. The wickets doing very little and Root, looks more likely to get a wicket, than Tredwell.
By:
In the football vernacular I think England win it from here.
I think there might be some spin and reverse even if after lunch. WI will make a gallant defence and then capitulate as usual. Glad my money is now in pocket. A draw is possible. |
By:
brave to have much faith in a poor west indies side not losing more than 7 wickets on day 5
gotta negotiate the morning session which has been the most difficult all test and then the new ball before and after tea |
By:
Does look like there will be a bit of rain tomorrow. Although I doubt enough to stop an Eng win. WI in with an outside chance. 340 gettable if no rain.
With the difficulty of predicting weather at a place like Antigua, I'm probably done. WI +20 Eng +150 Dr +150 |
By:
yes good knock pxb.
I'd leave that where it was too, job done! |
By:
Draw will trade much lower than 3.4 imo
By:
Good one PXB.
I'm currently WI +53 Eng +53 Draw -123 Leaving it alone for now, hopefully for good. |
By:
Aha, I only do this for fun not for blood.
By:
good luck to you!
By:
Thanks trader pj, it's how I've survived for so long. I guess that as a trader, that's chicken feed to you

Be nice for the Windies to out draw the poms here.Dodgy balls and all.
By:
They are doing a good job so far. I'm going out for a walk to relieve the boredom.
By:
england are so gutless, cant even trouble the windies batsmen i predict 285-5 end of play
By:
Another wretched and completely out of context of the game inns by Samuels
By:
Looking like WI might weather this. I levelled out a bit earlier when the draw was 6 and am thinking about going back in if England go much bigger. Not sure if I'm feeling brave enough though.
By:
I've been down all game. Not once in the green for 4 days!! Need the draw to get to 2s and I can get away with break even. Have had massive red for parts of this game. Been a painful last few days

The way things are going, you could well get out of jail. just a few more overs without a wicket
will do. |
By:
As I put this morning on this thread, these 2 teams don't know how to win, so a draw the likely outcome and that could well happen, althought the Windies do have some bunny rabbits at the bottom of the order.
By:
There was a bit of resistance around 3 for the draw (1.5 England) but the downward trend of the draw has now resumed.

Can someone please articulate the numbers here please? Neither SKY or he BBC seem too bothered by the number of overs remaining, time, weather etc. from a punting perspective it's obviously quite important! Thanks
By:
31 overs left after tea, if needed
By:
31 overs left, weather seems set fair but you never know exactly in the caribbean. England can bowl more overs if they bowl a lot of spin
By:
Thanks, and that will be the overriding metric? Time not an issue?
By:
minimum of 15 overs in the last hour too
By:
Root underbowled.
Broad to go short at them both for a few overs. |
By:
Thanks, and as an aside as you seem an affable bunch.....how the heck do these 2 cricketing boards manage to run a test series against he might of the IPL??? I understand the politics with Pak and their little 1 day jolly with the Bangladesh lads but these are 2 huge cricketing nations running against the single biggest cricketing tournament in the world! Seems really odd!

This tour has probably been in place for a long time. England always play when the ipl is on, not as if many of them would be bought at auction anyway!
By:
Well, Ravi is getting a game!
![]() ![]() |
By:
and Morgan, but there are not many others who could get a game
By:
Was on England and have bottled it and greened out.
By:
ready for some big movements in this last session!
By:
Think I'll sit this one out and just enjoy the game.

By:
Pure guessing at this point!
By:
This draw price is TOTALLY based on 1 down all down, if they had the remotest hint of a tail, this price for the draw would be very interesting. Very interesting.
By:
In fact, it might be interesting without a tail!!

Wicket price predictions? Currently 2.2 to 4
