Still batting to come for WI and if they survive the new ball tomorrow morning, 300 definitely on.
Looking shift my green onto the draw. |

I'm dead level after two days. Backed the draw at 2.7. Looked a bit shaky at 4 down but that stand has solidified things for now. However, with the weather set fair, may walk away for a while and wait for another opp later in the game.

A few brief showers forecast for tomorrow. Doubt we will lose many overs, but should spook the market as everyone rushes to cover the draw.
Currently WI -100 Eng +200 DR -50 |

I very much hoped for what is happening now. good overheads and flat pitch. Unfortunately WI lost one wicket too many for me and I cashed out. New ball due and we are getting into an England back situation. The pitch is dry. It may reverse as well as spin later in the match.
I am sure what to do here. bet on Kings Xl Punjab! |
|
By:
and that is why WI are unbackable! new ball due

If you are filthy you could make 8% on your money inside 3 days here. Lay Windies at 12 ( well played Injera btw @6 ).

Thanks WD.
![]() Your point about those who run away don't get killed is very apt for all of us on here!! I need to write that one down. Fascinating test. Eng should take wickets with this new cherry but they still have plenty to do to actually win the game. If we bat well, it's the whole 'when to declare' discussion. Keeping the draw onside for now.. |
|

To be honest Injera I do prefer watching and betting on Test Cricket. I think England win from here but the easy money as far as I am concerned is on Kings Xl.
I set myself up nicely for two whole days. Had a 25% profit all round green 3 times but was geared up for 100% Draw and WI. In the end I just felt I had my chance for the big win but it wasn't taken so time to get out.. Even from here WI could get to 400 if Shiv was batting but he gets out coning down the wicket to Treadwell. If God is trying to tell you something and you don't listen you deserve to lose your money! the draw is still a strong possibility but it is England for me but cash in pocket. |

Since last Spring I decided to try and trade seriouly on Tests with all other bets treated as fun with a strict limit, say £20.
It's been a long wait for this match! With my fun bets I try and avoid anything odds on or just above Evens. I can't get the S/R high enough to make those bets pay over time. You say you were green all round 3 times. Sounds very good but as you say, we get itchy fingers especially in Test cricket... I try to make several correct small trades each match, getting myself up to 10% or more if possible. I then compound this over time.. |
|
By:
trading is not my style. Either i don't understand the principles or don't have the temperament for it. i try and build up a position based on what i think the chances of the match result or perhaps what may happen "if". For example England win this match for me from before the start but if Windies win the toss on a belter then surely England must go out and a profit is to be made. WI have had their chances in this game but not taken them. This is to be expected but sometimes you might get lucky. I got some WI at 20 odd. They could easily given the circumstances of the pitch and cloud and sun got to 400 before end of play today and that would have given me a big all round green but I think I am lucky to get out with my funds intact to go again.
I find it difficult to come in and go out. |

OMFG!
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Geoffrey leaves the Box. Enter Michael Vaughan What do you think of the England batting Michael. Well You need good technique. Alastair Cook's technique is so much better than last year. His left foot goes back and his right foot goes forward. I know about the curse of the commentator but he is moving much bett....... knick! LMFAO ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

This is the scenario I was hoping for earlier in my " If " comment. Windies should have got 400 or more and yesterday was fully sunny. Now it is overcast.
Glad I am out of it with my troosers still |

Cook, gets double figures in both innings, which, should ensures he stays as Captain and Opening Batsman for the New Zealand series

windies in with more than a shout here. 12.00?

Eng playing for the draw already

strike rates of 19 & 20, pathetic batting from these two, playing for the draw is about right, day one was like 341 runs, what happened
|

Gary Ballance..fck off

Ballence, asleep.comfortable single there.

Eng on track for a 350 lead by the 2nd new ball. After some nervous moments when that muppet Bell ran himself out.
You'd have to say 350+ will be too much for WI. |

weather forecast has got slightly worse. Chance of showers on both days now

giggitygiggity 16 Apr 15 07:42 Vaughans commentators curse lol..http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p02p7mv8 diggity What that clip does not present was the amount of time he was in the commentary box. He had literally just replaced Sir Geoffrey, sat down and was asked a question by I presume Ed Smith. Something about Cooks form or such like. He replied to the question and within 15 seconds Captain Co ck was out. This is no ordinary Commentators Curse. We have heard the build up to a century or a match winning knock before but this was straight from the Satan handbook. Goodbye Geoffrey, Welcome Michael Vaughan. What do you think of Cook's form, reply, out and all within i'd say 17 seconds maybe 18. That was not a cut, it was straight from the off. Wonderful BBC at it's best. Up there with Johnners and Aggers, Beefy not getting his leg over. It should be remembered as a timeless classic, pure poetry. |

sorry giggity!

400 in four and a half sessions is too much.
maybe not if Gayle were playing, but there will be wickets and there will be deceleration. throw in a few showers and they're not getting there. |
|
By:
and surely cook should know from the sri lanka series the importance of getting a result when you can in short series.
|
|
By:
The draw it is then.
|
|
By:
yep. 475 and a declaration half way through the final session wouldn't surprise me.
