OK I know it is pretty early, but I have started putting England at 6/5 in accumulators already. West Indies ranked 8th and last of major cricketing nations and England 3rd. Fancy us, I know we will be playing over there but the windies are in big trouble. The sport there is dominated by politics. Might be proved wrong, but I sincerely hope not. Aussies for the Ashes again too I think, but I don't think my heart would allow me to do that :)

High number of draws at the Antigua ground.

True, but big hitters from WI chasing the $$$ in IPL, England need to win to boost morale, think they will win. Great trading options 5 day test if plans change

Excepting Holder, both teams bowling was pretty poor in the WC. And I can see fairly big scores by both sides, Which makes me reluctant to go big laying the draw.

If the wicket is slowish then it might be easy for the batters. Even the WI have some good batters. Holder is a young talent but I think their best bowler is Taylor when he is on a good day.

I expect England to rack up some big scores so if the price is right I would be looking to lay the Windies and be switching between England and the draw.

Incidentally I had a big win in the WI match against NZ, which, was weather threatened. I spent most of the night before the final day watching a hotel webcam of the beach pointing from where the weather was coming and I also had the good fortune of seeing Shiv stumped for the first time in 143 Test Matches. As far as I am concerned you can stick your statistics up your jacksy when The Big Man says he not going to shaft you like usual.

England's bowling will be weak. Pitch dead.

I wouldn't back England in any type of cricket yet. Best to sit on hands at present.

Can't wait for the tests to start. 10 this Summer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gonna get some juicy odds with the uncertainty in the Windies, a very decent NZ side and the Ashes. England sure to get improve as the Summer goes on..

I think England are still a long term lay. They don't seem to have learned anything with Cook still captain and at the current price (2.4) would have to win 2 out of 3 to make a profit. The bowling looked tired last month and West Indian conditions are not going to help.I'm not as optimistic of their chances as the market seems to suggest.

Difficult to call this one. I can see all 3 outcomes going short odds at some point.

Eng probably too short, but that won't stop them shortening further as weather looks good all 5 days.

I can't see West Indies troubling England one bit here. WI are just pretenders these days, even in their home conditions, should be a straight forward win for England. England really need a confidence booster and this series can provide them that, and hopefully they can pick up momentum and build a good team for the next World Cup. Minimum expectation for hosts in WC now is Runners up. Hope England will be ready for it.

Draw shortening, I assume on the showers in the forecast. Shouldn't be much at this time of year.

England have shortened to nearly 2, while WI has gone out to 7. Plenty of room for WI to shortened should they have a good start or England a poor one.

Don't know, want to see if it is worth anything laying off now , might be too late. Full bank bank job on the Aussies for the ashes, this is the worst England team i have seen in a while.

They will probably unfreeze the market during the lunch break, probably too risky to allow betting in play in case there is another outage.

At least my pre-match lay of England is not under threat at the moment.

what baffles me almost as much as the length of the outage is why the liquidity on **** is still so poor, you'd think this would be when people would use it but for example not a penny matched on England 1st innings runs.

that was bet DUCK, sadly even putting a ~ in it didn't stop the censoring.
