And they are claiming 7.5 million readers. That is a huge proportion of the English population agreeing to what was going on.....
By:
oh, yeah. I don't know how to break it to you BJT, but we do have a fair few fcking idiots over here.
By:
And that doesn't even cover the other papers, and media those in charge are in control of.
What proportion of media in England is run by News International? I would suggest that most people that have an issue what this man, would in some way or another support this company in some manner... |
By:
Fair play to Rogers, that must have cained
By:
ouch.
By:
And Broad bowling some serious pace here too. 147 the ball before...
By:
that's gonna hurt a bit!
people forget it is a pretty hard game this at times and mentally even harder! |
By:
Just amazes me how they played without helmets
By:
England building up some sort of pressure here, runs dried up a bit
By:
If you aint got a helmet on Swagger you are going to watch it close and swya out of the way. Watch Brian Close at Manchester when 44 years old against Michael Holding. tyhe ball whizzed past his nose a couple of times not inches but millimetres! it was scary sheite. Brings tears to my eyes and terrible pain to my stomach as I just can't stop laughing!

Famous last words. Time to bring Anderson on surely
By:
omg, no arm guard, inner thigh pad or chest protector. 44yo. They don't make them out of granite anymore! and just for the record, granite cracks!
By:
Wow that is scary Whisperingdeath!
By:
When men were men and all that!
By:
and these mugs are trapped on the crease like rabbits in the headlights to Mitchell Johnson! He would be smashed all over the gaff by SA and India right now!
Isn't that the best cricket video you have ever seen Swagger? |
By:
It is harrowing although I remember that clip when Curtly Ambrose broke a batsmans jaw and had to be carried off
By:
Summer of 76 Swagger,
the best summer ever. "I respect the West Indies, they are a good side but when they are down they grovel and I intend to make them grovel!" This was after they got a hammering physically and mentally in Aus and had to face some disgusting racial abuse. Poor Tony should not have said what he did. As for Brian Close... I have never taken to Yorkshiremen but I have respect for that old man! |
By:
that's a misquote but good enough
By:
Rick McCosker came back in the second innings with a broken jaw bandaged with a handkerchief!
By:
I just don't understand when they leave like that why they don't get out lbw rather than bowled?
Shocking from someone with Clarke's ability! |
By:
all out 180 here..
By:
fk 180 looking overs now me thinks..we are due a full on collapse without a tail wag
By:
i think tail will wag strongly. rear guard action
By:
Bailey is an absolute mug, he's like Watson imo
bash or out |
By:
England bowling well with plans in place, it's too late though lads.
The series is gone ![]() ![]() |
By:
Get rid of Watson, Rogers and Bailey, Bring in a couple of your front line fast bowlers and you have the basis of a very good side!
By:
Anderson just dropped my money
![]() |
By:
Schadenfreude there after giving Bresnan the teapot for a misfield earlier Andersen drops a dolly!
By:
mitch marsh can probably bat aswell as bailey but obv offers a lot with his fast mediums.
am i being unrealistic with thinking about getting him a game next match? especially if watto has a groin strain |
By:
it didn't help Ted but I am sitting on 4.65
! |
By:
I wanted to ask about the Marsh boys! What has happened to them. I like the look of Faulkener if his batting keeps improving at no.6 Is there still a chance for Phil Hughes specially on hard wickets?
By:
c'mon Monty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
By:
hueghs been in very good form in state cricket i think his return to the test team is just a matter of when, but it should be top of the order so the question for mine is does rogers retire at end of this series and take hueghs to rsa where he has performed very well, or does rogers play on to tour RSA and hueghs keeps waiting in the wings
By:
I have to sat first up it looked missing just
By:
Swann would of had that hitting with the extra revolutions on the ball
By:
Rogers is not the future although he has done a good job steadying the ship. A bit like Carberry I guess. I would have dropped Carberry and given Ballance a chance for this test even though he has been ok by the standards of the tour but I think his game is short. He does not work the ball and take singles enough. Rogers will have more problems in SA against Styen, Morkel and Philander. In actual fact he might be doing Hughes a favour if he keeps his place over him for that Tour then retires!
By:
Aus still favourites batting last...fair enough I guess!
By:
Play some shots Harris
By:
Oooh what is going on here then? Game on by the looks...
By:
Ummmm. 2.00? Sweet deal I think..... Batting last, struggle to be in front at innings break. What did I really miss here?
