So seriously.
How many matches is Cook going to get? 3 overs short after being given 30 minutes extra to complete. No excuses. That puts him 10 overs behind what should have been bowled. For mine, he doesn't play again this series is what should happen. And England should lose their best 10 overs from the bat next innings. Fcuking joke they can't get 90 overs bowled on a perfect day for cricket. |

I was sitting in the sun today, think the weather and heat will have zapped the energy out of the England players. Their players will have a few ice baths tonight. And the worst thing is, its going to be more of the same tomorrow, hot, hot hot...................im selling off my ticket tomorrow, no way Im going to sit in that heat again. Rather watch the game on TV, rather than be cooked in an oven

Having said that the omission of Finn beggars belief unless they have been " changing " him! I think there needs to be a change at the top personally. The signs have been there for too long and it has become the leaders responsibility to do something, he has not. Cook, Trott and Prior have been walking wickets since the summer. To use the Geoffrey Howe similie ....... If England can't manage the second string of Harris, Johnsalez and Siddle what would have happened if Starc, Pattinson and Cummins were fit! Contrast Flowers stewardship with that of the thug Lehmann. He inherited a joke and has produced a cricket team and one that has a second string bowling attack and brittle batting line up also carrying 3 passengers but is on the verge or regaining The Ashes...... and one more thing.....oh that's right everything really is ok. As some of you have stated at the start of the series...the toss is crucial. The side that wins the toss wins the game so Englands have not been rubbish ... I'm wondering if a draw is on the cards here. Oz look good for a score close to 400 on what looks a very good wicket. After having thrown away at least 3 top order wickets.
Can see Eng playing for the draw from tomorrow. Mitch is the wild card. |

I'm not saying it will be a draw, but agree draw could trade quite a bit shorter.
In the end, if Mitch doesn't do it Aus, the heat will. Ie, big scores by Eng are unlikely, but I expect some good starts. |

First test in ages that I havent staked a penny yet. History itself suggests its unlikely be a draw, but the longer Oz bat tomorrow the draw price will keep coming in and it only takes one decent England partnership and the draw price would hurtle sub 4 and beyond. That might be the time to lay it. Can see mistakes made day four and five with plenty of tired minds and bodies having played in the oven that is the WACA |

Can't believe how poor England bowled yesterday as a team, the biggest trap at the WACA is to bowl to short, every man and his dog knows that, how does a international team come an d bowl to short all day, at one stage Cook had one slip in, one slip day one at the WACA, blind leading the blind, Anderson really stands up when it really maters ffs, the ultimate flat track bully, ****n cream puff IMO
