As I said , I'm not defending exactly what he did , but parents have to risk assess for their kids (and themselves) every day of the week - some decisions we make are better than others. Nobody makes the right call every time.
If bad parenting is just cause to lose your job - then there will be millions more out of work. |

No - there have been plenty of mistakes , but it easy to criticise with the benefit of hindsight.
Not enough tests / PPE/ and late lockdown for starters - but as I said it is easy afterwards. Maybe everybody is happy to pay more tax to stockpile huge quantise of tests , PPE and ventilators for the next 100 years and then bin them and replace when they go out of date ? |

Okay. I'm assuming they don't have as much power as the SNP in Scotland? but I take your point. What I'm wondering is how many people voted for Johnson and might be thinking it was a mistake? I was always prepared to acknowledge that the Leadership of the Labour party have been appalling under Corbyn. And I can't stand Abbott, Chakribarty and many others, and I was reticent about voting for them while people like that were infuential in the party. But I don't think Johnson has handled the situation competently, and i believe that many tories would like to see the back of him as well.
