Now if you were an American ,and reading some of his mad ravings full of bias and hatred , perhaps yours also , against America
Would you feel safe and secure if he was in court as a member of the jury ?

Well the American might think twice , will I get a fair trial , it’s bound to be of concern
I wouldn’t like to risk it

watch the docu on bbc 2 last night seems this fella has been a friend, allie of America on a number of occasions in the past, but it seems hard to make a judgement when the uk thought 143 deaths in Iraq on foreign soil was to much to stomach, and trump was taking retribution for the death of an American on foreignh soil over xmas, but this fella had to witness the west back Iraq when invading this fella,s country and killing over a million of his fella citizens,
how many sullamani,s would uk create if a country backed by America invaded the uk and killed over a million of us, we really cant even begin to stand in these people shoes or comprehend their thinking

If Iranians develop Nuclear Weapons so be it...…

They would be in the same position as N.Korea, they can wave them about, but they can never use them as it would guarantee

their own destruction.

It also guarantees them protection from attack by land from the US.

Although Trump decided to lob missiles at them, no Donald, that is not helping

I'm afraid I may be labelled a Muslim apologist again for saying this but the Brits invaded Iraq. They were revolted against. And the guy leading that revolt was evil?

Just to help out , Soleimani was Iranian, not Iraqi and had no business being in Basra,Lebanon or Iraq unless for peaceful purposes.

A British charity is being investigated after it praised assassinated Iranian general Qassem Soleimani as a martyr.

The Islamic Centre of England, a charity with assets of more than £4 million, organised a vigil in London on Saturday to commemorate the warlord.

The event was attended by more than 2,000 people, including Iran’s ambassador to London, The Times reported.

Seyed Moosavi, 51, the charity’s director and the UK representative of Iranian leader Ayatollah Khamenei praised Soleimani as a ‘dedicated soldier of Islam’

Qasem Soleimani: Stampede kills 50 mourners at burial in Iran

Fifty people have been killed and more than 200 injured in a stampede as Iranians gathered for the burial of a leading commander killed in a US drone strike.

The deaths in Qasem Soleimani's hometown of Kerman led to the ceremony being delayed.

the irony lfc1971 Laugh

My comparison was only regards Nuclear Weapons. N.Korea have Nuclear Weapons so nobody can invade them.
We don't yet know if Iran have them or not, but they would put themselves in the same position if they did, they cannot be invaded.

lfc1971 you seem to have more idea of life inside N.Korea than I have. Difficult to know what goes on there.

and in N.Koreas case I think they should give their Nuclear Weapons and rejoin with S.Korea.

In Iran's case if they have them I think they should keep them, looking at what the West did to Iraq.

ebul let me make this simple for you , you can’t dissociate nuclear weapons from the country that processes them
If they are an evil regime , such as exists in N Korea then we don’t want countries like that to have nuclear weapons
You see you say you would like North Korea and South Korea to be one
But the fact is people have been living in the hellhole that is N Korea for 70 years
Innocent people , hundreds of thousands of them have lived and suffered in the camps , as cruel as any in Nazi gernany for 70 years
Now that may continue for another 70 years , you may be happy with that
I’m not , and I don’t want an evil repressive regime in Iran to continue or ever get a nuclear bomb either , sorry about that

when you can take out, obliterate a single car, person, house, compound 10,000 miles away like playing a video game, nuclear weapons are no longer a viable option,
cant ever see a country using nuclear weapons against someone who hasn't got them, and anyone using them against the west would be writying a suicide note, who would the uk unilaterally launch  a nuclear attack, weve had supposedly countries with wmd wthin 45 mins threaten us,russia supposedly launching a chemical attack on a uk town, ethnic cleansing in places we previously went on holiday in,isis running amok, attacks in uk,and the use of nuclear weapons doesn't even get mentioned by even the hardline hawks

For what it's worth I can see nuclear weapons used and probably not too far off.
Noam Chomsky wrote a great book called 'Who rules the world' which lists a number of occasions nuclear war was only halted by individuals actually breaking from procedure. Had they done what they were ordered we already would have had nuclear war.

After the arms race came one based on 'super fuses' these are tacticle launch mechanisms that raced each other to be first hit and can jump to conclusions.
When AI determines more decisions then these alarms will trigger at greater alacrity, remember the Atom bomb has been around for a mere blink of an eye.

One other case to note is the number of games for children on consoles/computers that are built around the narative of surviving armageddon....its as though they are being conditioned for it.

The only reason people cant see though this sh1t is they don't want to,meanwhile "Washington has refused to issue a visa to Iranian Foreigh Minister Zarif even though,as the host of the UN headquarters, the US is obliged to allow foreign officials into the county.
Zaif wanted to address Security Council in violation of UN treaty". o whys that?

So once again nothing really happened. Iran fired off a few missiles to appease its own people(the same kind who had no problem giving their lives in a funeral and burning israeli flags at the same event)

For the amount of nonsense the iranians talk, they are the perfect case of barking dogs seldom bite.

Thats not the end of it though is it?
Its just for show like you suggest.

Iranian scientists doing overtime on the bomb and at some point pull out of the non proliferation agreement and no amount of israel bombing raids or yank playstation COD gamechair drone targetted raids will stop them.

As The Economist mentions; 'you cant bomb whats in their heads'

It should be the end of it. Iran isn't going to bomb anyone. If they didn't do it after getting such a high profile general killed, they are never doing it. Period.

Americans don't need to do much. Iran has threatened UAE and Israel. Not that they need any excuse but its a great time to tell UAE to improve its defense and buy their product.

Its a win win for everybody.

As for the bomb, they should already have it, just like Pak and NK. They all got the tech at the same time and helped each other. Pakistan has had to declare because of India, the other two have taken their time.

Iran dont want to be more clandestine in their attacks, they dont want the world to see rockets fired out of Iran.
They have a number of ways they will niggle at america while they get into a position to show off their bomb and then watch america go back to bullying states who have no airforce.
