There is a program on Soleimani scheduled on BBC2 at 23:15 tonight
Soleimani, it turns out he is some military mastermind with lots of irons in the fire, why the US have killed him US troops have been asked to leave IRAN. Trump will place sanctions on IRAN for this as he says the base is expensive to run, so wants his money back. I disapprove of anything that increases hated between the West and Iran, we have enough of that already. |

There's not going to be any war. But you can see from how happy the people are with the general's death that people still approve of involvement in the region, when that region is too far away for any possible danger to the west(even if it was close, we have a decent defense).
It really is astonishing. People approve of soldiers in their country. But start a new thread everytime one of their stabs someone in their own backyard. In old days war was two way. Today people approve of it away from home, and cry about it when it comes home. |
