I've pointed out this hypocrisy among posters here many times. But people have been brainwashed to such an extent that they believe everything the government tells them about other countries has to be true. What surprises me though is that its usually the same people complaining about stabbings, media coverage or government's lies about events at home. Yet they lap up everything about other countries. These are also the same people who, when you tell them a large part of muslim hatred against the west comes from the middle east wars would label you a muslim apologist and claim no, it's written in koran that they have to kill the western people.

As I said earlier, most of the people defending the general's killing are hypocrites. If you are an enemy of America, expect to be shot. Understandable. But when a guy from the middle east stabs someone in london, why then do people start complaining about Islam and koran? Does it not apply to wars at home? You are their enemy, so expect to be stabbed?
PS: Not trying to defend the stabbers, just wondering why the same standard isn't applied when the war comes home. |
