Absolute National embarassment
Heard on BBC News "Police are now considering shooting it down " ![]() 110,000 people affected, over 750 flights given how much air times it's now received, it will give other people ideas. |

Not one video of a drone over Gatwick on YouTube. And there's a good reason for this: there are no drones.

By:
Pan Am 103 bomb 30th anniversary today
By:
So Gatwick is open and reading between the lines, we've got no idea who is responsible but are pretty confident that whatever technology the Army has deployed has neutralised the immediate threat.

The problem is not going to go away is it ?
Drones will get faster with higher altitude capability , so will be a menace a long way from an airport. For a country that stood alone against the axis of evil 70 years ago we are now ruled by health and safety obsessed mandarins with about as much steel, tenancity, can do mentality and bulldog spirit as a jelly baby. The solution license the drones with a number plate on the front , one mile over the speed limit ,one inch over the altitude and proximity limits and you can get bet your bottom dollar 3 points and a fine would be guaranteed . I would not want to be a Brit abroad at the moment, the ridicule would be relentless. |
By:
This is just the start
People out there that have seen this will now know they could easily bring all airports to a standstill Pointed out by sixtwosix, once these drones can fly higher there will be no need to fly them near airports, get them on a flight path in the middle of nowhere and all flights in the country will be stopped trust me They can train as many eagles as they like it wont make a difference will it |

Does any1 really believe there was any Drone at Gatwick at all ?
Laughable |
By:
Lets start speculating what the real issue was yesterday ?
By:
maybe it was a UFO, either that or a drone
By:
B4 we look into this properly maybe we should consider how long this SUPER DRONE was airborne for ?
Is it powered by a new DURACELL FREE ENERGY LONG LASTING BATTERY ? I am dying here ![]() |
By:
It's possible this is all staged to pass new laws, but definitely premature to say it was so, I'd leave in a while to see what they come up with, who they've found, if there was a person responsible, if not then let the conspiracies commence.
By:
A quick question though?
Don't drones have something built in that can be scanned so as to find out where the controller is? Something does seem very fishy about this, like they want us all to think its so easy to bring down a whole major airport |
By:
technology is great an all
But its easily traced isn't it ?!?! |
By:
They want us to believe we build all this stuff, but not put something in it that can be traced
![]() Phones can be traced, facebook pages can be traced right to its source ie where they are posting from But drones that are causing so much trouble can't? nah not a chance |
By:
Basically they want people wasting time with drones and other technology
And not taking out technology itself, if you take out technology you can't be traced And they don't want that ![]() |
By:
The real question should be what problem did Gatwick Airport have which needed the cover story of a rogue drone to mask it ?
I wonder if anyone will look into this or just leave it for 20 years or so |
By:
Couldn't have been a lot JWH
Its back open now anyway Could be the coming financial meltdown ? |
By:
they might want to pass a law that makes it illegal to fly drones near an airport I suppose
By:
Maybe there was an electronic issue with bookings etc which may have made them liable for thousands of claims ?
By:
Possibly
Sounds plausible |
By:
either there was an issue with bookings or there wasn’t
Which is it ? |
By:
The drone story has worked. All good . Noting to see here. Move on.
By:
If there was an issue with bookings perhaps only an idiot might suggest covering it up by suggesting it was caused by drones
I don’t know |
By:
Oh god lfc Its you.. The 4 plane goon from 911. FFS.. I thought i had blocked you. Must get that amended. Your input was proved to be futile on that and other matters if i remember correctly. Now quietly go away and research how long a non military Drone can be airbourne for and come back to me with your results theres a good chap.
By:
There’s an idiot right there
By:
LOL. Exposed once as a goon and yet you keep on posting . Give it up ffs.
Almost 30k of totally worthless posts of non researched tripe and still counting. Ever heard of parkour / free running ? Maybe you should take that up and start your journey around Beachy Head |
