With regards this forum's fascination, Mr M, much of it is sparked by personal feuds with fellow posters I should imagine. An observation, alas, which is all too prevalent on most message boards.

Communist. 1975-79. 1.6 million murdered; 4 million killed in hard labor. North Korea under Kim Il Sung. Independent socialist State. 1.15 million killed. Yugoslavia under Josip ” socialist federation President” Tito. 1945-65. 1 million total killed. Ethiopia under Menghistu. Communist. 1975-1978 “The Red Terror.” 1 million killed. It wasn't a trial, IT. It was a job interview on whether he's suited for the highest judicial office in the country. Obviously enough senators thought a man with sexual misconduct accusations, someone who openly ranted about Democratic Party conspiracies and quite blatantly lied about his yearbook and drinking habits in front of the committee would be fit for that promotion.

It wasn't a trial, For someone who takes such delight in being a pedant, you really should be more careful with your language! It most certainly WAS a `trial`; no good and right thinking people ever suggested it was a `legal` trial, but lefties persist in these conflating and obfuscating tactics. While we`re ALL sinners, my `crime` of owning a Dreambox is perhaps deserving of penance involving a couple of Hail Mary`s, although I`m not sure my Priest would even deem it worthy of that; propagating an evil that has murdered hundreds of millions, purely because they want no part of your evil plans, is most deserving of an eternity with Lucifer. |
