Would love to hear the opinion of criminal psychologists,i doubt many would say with any confidence they think the Mcanns look innocent, quite the opposite which is what makes it stink the place out..

Another Battle on the Horizon

‘Profile of the Disappearance of Madeleine McCann’ author Pat Brown, who has analysed the case, said the evidence implicates the British girl’s parents, not a stranger.

“There’s no point spending all of this money as nothing they do is going to make that child alive.”

lie detectors tests are not an exact science, people telling the truth have failed them, people lying have passed them they proved nothing and would achieve nothing.

Thanks for that, Gerry.Crazy

Although you might want to get in touch with the FBI, MI6, DGSE, etc etc as they use them on their own personnel regularly. You should advise them that they are wasting their time and money.Plain

no one who is innocent should take a lie detector test.
By:
lfc1971
When: 30 Mar 17 16:19
why not? if you have to ask that question you are too stupid to be commentating on anything.
By:
lfc1971

lets put it this way, if they pass the test, or if they fail the test.
the same people who have found them to be guilty, without any evidence, will still believe they are guilty.
everyone of them, exactly the same number, it will not change their mindset in any way
evidence is not for them.

Most People Specially Family in the States, opt to  take the Test in hope that it will stop the Police wasting time Investigating them .

Makes sense really  Doesn't it ?

Just an observation, but what kind of person like Burt06 takes the time, and apparently some interest in pursuing this at this stage.

Ah-a, I know, he knows important acronyms and apparently he knows about lie detector tests and how they are used and validated.

He'll be posting again no doubt, and we can move forward, and closer to the truth with his valuable and expert input.

Police do not eliminate suspects on the strength of lie detector tests not unless they are an out and out cowboy operation from some banana republic.

It's just another part of the 10 year witch hunt.

No idea if they are guilty or innoncent, but this is just another non story associated with the case, like the ex policeman who a few weeks ago after a whole decade came up with an “astonishing new theory” about Madeleine McCann....she walked out of the apartment and was taken!

How did he come up with that?

I can assure you that the Police in the States find  LD tests very helpful Plain

in the macaans case proved by their initial statements, the rule of thumb we learned is that when their lips move their lying, then proceed from there on that basis and you wont go far wrong

Plenty of the McCanns lies have been found out already.

Though polygraphs are Uri Geller type nonsense .

Somebody linked a documentary about an American language expert analysing the Mccann's words in interviews. I have to say it was surprisingly convincing.

If it were Me and My Daughter I am taking any test as early as Possible to hope the Police can Rule me out ....

I have no Idea What happened to Maddy ,but The word Shifty Just about Covers Mr McCann ,if ever a Person needed ruling out

of a case its Him ..

Unfortunately we Have a Wxnker Mob on the Forum who have obviously Gone blind to any other Opinion than their Own ..

Does casemoney consider the possibility that he might fail the test and be innocent.

And the police might concentrate on finding him guilty instead of trying to find the real culprit.

Does he trust the police not to do that? I don't know.

Colombo in Sri Lanka? It's always funny when that happens - a stupid spelling mistake whilst taking the mick out of somebody's intelligence.

sit the test if you are guilty, you have nothing to lose.

do not sit the test if you are innocent, you have nothing to gain.
By:
lfc1971
When: 01 Apr 17 08:48
the McCanns did not sit the test, they are innocent.

not that one necessarily proves the other.

What about a truth drug? Isn't that much more reliable? I'd offer to take that if I was innocent. Or hypnosis? You never know, your subconscious might remember some little detail that could help solve the case. An innocent father would be prepared to try anything.
By:
lfc1971
When: 01 Apr 17 08:58
no, nobody who believes the McCanns to be innocent will believe that either.
they have described the events, and anyone guilty could not have described those events as Gerry described them .

only an innocent person could have described the events as he described them, I have explained why.

Speaking as a father I know without a shred of doubt that I would put myself through any test imaginable if it had the slightest chance of helping the police find my child. I wouldn't give a damn about any potential repercussions on myself. All normal fathers would feel the same.

do not take any drug, do not take any lie detector test.
By:
lfc1971
When: 01 Apr 17 09:03
that`s fine torque, but by doing what you suggest will not help the investigation in any way.
it could hinder it, and make you guilty and the guilty party escape.
By:

When: 01 Apr 17 09:04
I hear you LFC but forget about whether or not Gerry is innocent for a moment. All I am saying is that speaking as a father I would be prepared to do ANYTHING that might help to find my child.

a lie detector test taken by an innocent person, has it ever led to a conviction of an innocent person?

a lie detector test, has it ever led to a conviction of a guilty person

the same regarding a `truth drug` if such a thing exists
or hypnosis?

what are the cases you know of?
By:

And what about hypnosis LFC? Surely that would be worthwhile? Gerry's subconscious might remember something that would help?

what will happen if you pass the lie detector test, or truth drug if such things exist?
