Yes and doesn't everyone just enjoy hammering home that point akabula....for the 1 millionth time.
More questions from George but no answers himself. Are you saying that no child and no family have ever sat around a pool on a cloudy and cooler day? does it have to be baking hot? Why does there have to be other kids in the photo on the tennis court, maybe they were there first? maybe it was lunch but they came back before anyone else? have you ever been to a holiday complex in May, most kids are still in school and the tennis courts are not always full. Not all families are the type to take millions of photos all the time, some just try to enjoy their holiday. |
|
By:
Are you not capable of making the effort to point out the obvious flaws in your post, George?
It is not an onerous task. I'd happily do it for you if I thought you would learn from it, but am not conviced that that capacity or inclination is there. |

And some do this by putting their children in the creche all day every day - then going out in the evening leaving their children unattended. |

Surely we have moved long beyond the moral condemnation and judgement of the parenting? That's one of the few givens in this case.

Nope. I made that point to TheBaron for the first time. If it annoys you so much why are you on the thread? Makes no sense other than you being part of the McCanns apologist army. |
|
By:
So we're both agreed, itcanbedone, you've put nothing to bed.
Now to be fair to scandanavian_haven, he's given his opinion, or a possible explanation, which I respect, but it doesn't put it to bed. |
|
By:
Am not sure what you mean by 'putting to bed' if am honest, George.
Scandi took some of his precious time to make handful of perfectly obvious points, all of which you could easily have arrived at by yourself.,,and you still don't seem satisfied. |
|
By:
Nope. I made that point to TheBaron for the first time
You may have said that to the baron for the first time, but you've said many times before on previous related threads, as well as the apologist line. Why should you all be allowed to get away with such a heavinly slanted approach to this case, there is little balance, it's anti mccann all the way and IMO it's born out of plain hatred for them as parents rather than common sense, which comes back to the following simple question, Where and how would they have ben able to have successfully covered up a death by hiding a dead body in a place they'd only been in for days without anyone ever finding her or traces of her? it's very implausible especially given the money, man power and time spent on it. exactly itcanbedone, people appear to have their judgement clouded based on the fact they can't hide their disapproval of them as parents (they being the perfect parent n' all)...nobody has ever condoned them leaving them alone so move on from that, repeating it just tells me you just want to make yourself feel better by projecting such moral superiority, we get it. Opinions doesn't put anything to be george but never does accusations, what you have come up is not worth debating as it doesn't amount to any kind of hard evidence does it. |

Btw S_h, the photo suggests a warm, sunny day, apparently there is perspiration on Gerry's forehead, some argue this is at odds with the weather report for the Thursday.

Simple fact is that there are a heck of a lot of questions that haven't been explained away in any reasonable manner.
Such as why was their mortgage paid off with the 'find maddie fund' fund and why wholly incompetent detectives, with no experience of tracing missing persons appointed?! It was registered as a limited company and not a charity. Everything is circumstantial without a body. However, it appears to many who have done in depth analysis that more of this circumstantial evidence seems to indicate death at the apartment as opposed to any abduction. Statistics alone show abductions are incredibly rare. And with absolutely no evidence whatsoever that she was abducted (aside of course from a missing girl); statistically she is far more likely to have met her fate within the confides of the apartment. |

There's no evidence of any crime whether abduction or murder or manslaughter. How someone can lean towards any scenario when the only evidence of any crime is that there is a missing child is bias. |

05 Feb 17 11:48 Several, if not all, of points raised in the links you posted are satisfactorily put to bed in the discussions therin. I'm surprised you don't know what I mean by "put to bed", as you're the one who used the phrase to dismiss several hours of detailed investigation / analysis in documentaries. But at least now we can both finally agree, you've put nothing to bed cuz you've just admitted that you don't even know what it means! |

I think their behaviour is so strange it makes people question how innocent are they when there is no evidence whatsoever she was abducted as claimed:
- who deletes selected text messages in the aftermath of their daughter going missing? - who destroys possible DNA and the scent of their daughter on her favourite soft toy? - who cleans a holiday apartment top to toe (including curtains)? - who doesn't frantically search around the apartment when a child is more likely to have wandered off than assume 'abduction', scream about it and then sit on a bed instead of helping to search? - who refuses to answer police questions if they have nothing to hide and hampering an investigation in the crucial early stages? On the other hand the McCanns say 'Maddie was abducted.' What do we have to support this? Nothing. Is it any surprise most people jump to the same conclusion as the police force who investigated her disappearance? |
|
By:
Not really sure what your source is for those Charwell and think some of them probably aren't true but certainly this is a new one I've never heard of:
- who cleans a holiday apartment top to toe (including curtains)? Where does this come from? |

You've gone about the mccans being bad parents for leaving there kids and called me an apologist before regardless of whether you are saying that to another poster on this thread again, point being it's that kind of disdain shown towards them on this issue which is what appears to blind people, they can't get past it and prefer to think of them as guilty parents, when in reality, it proves nothing about the disappearance

We'll consider the photo's of Madeline that week (or should that be the lack of them?)
5 of them? Reasonable Explantion given by Scandi So we've got the three where she's wearing the clothes she had on at the airport, leading observers to think those photo's were probably taken on the Saturday they arrived or Sunday at the latest. Correct and likely We have the tennis balls photo, which leads to obvious questions such as: 1. Where are all the other kids, parents and tennis coach? Reasonable Explantion given by Scandi 2. Why only the one photo of that tennis session? Reasonable Explantion given by Scandi 2. Why did more than one person claim to have taken the photo? No idea, would need to knwo more to come up with an explanation 3. Did Kate really run all the way back to apartment to grab her camera while Madeline held that pose? No idea, possibly 4. Why was Madeline holding full size tennis balls when presumably the kids would have used the lighter spongier balls? key word...presumably And there's the 'final' photo beside the pool: 1. Some have examined the weather records from that week and suggested Sunday would have been the last day where it was warm and sunny for long enough to have been sat around the pool in shades and light summer clothing, particularly as Thursday was apparently cloudy and on the cooler side. Weather records are not that detailed in a micro sense. I got sun burnt on the beach today for example, even though the weather records will tell you it was largely cloudy. regarding sitting around the pool in cool Portuguese weather.. I live in a hot climate and i see British tourists with their shirts off when i am wearing a coat. 2. Why did it take 3 weeks to come up with the photo? The tennis photo was produced 2 days after the event. From the same memory stick or card. presumably they chose the tennis image for reasons i have previously discussed And other questions such as: 1. Why wasn't that photo handed to the police initially along with the others, and why were there only 3 colour ones amongst a load of black and white, hard to distinguish ones, given to police? Nothing to suggest it wasn't and that the Tennis photo was chosen for reasons previously detailed So 6 days of holiday, but apparently just ? 5 colour photo's and 2 of them open seemingly to question, seemingly being the key word, only seemingly to a conspiracy theorist and the lack of holiday snaps leading some to question, along with a glut of other stuff, if Madeline was still alive after the Sunday. If your key theory was that Maddie was killed early in the week, the key part of establishing this is not the flimsy photo evidence speculation, but rather how they got around the, admittedly somewhat haphazzard, Kids Club signing in and out procedures. A massive risk to take which could have easily been rumbled. And also what child the overhead neighbour, Mrs Fenn, heard calling out the night before the event. Mrs Fenn considered that the child was older than a toddler btw. |

For sh
We are not talking about the body of a 6ft man. We are talking about a light small girl.I think she would be the same weight as she would have been for the abductor to carry off and he didnt find it too difficult to hide her did he. I think someone that small could be place in a blue sports bag which would be big enough to hide a tennis racket or two. Then carried to the local church by someone at night who looks a bit lke that photofit man. Most people beleive the pool photo was taken the year before and the unusual detailed trip to buy gerrys new sunglasses in kats bewk was used to explain them as he left them at home apparently. |

Unfortunately, a distinct lack of knowledge there, most people familiar with even just a basic understanding of the case know the 3 week gap refers to the 'final' photo next to the pool. |

Charwell, suggest you read the thread, plenty of those points have been covered.

an abductor can drive for miles and miles across borders if he wished to his own home, gerry would only have a finite period of time to a) bury / dispose of the body and b) do it so extremely well no trace of her would ever be found - and then for the next 10 years appear on a multitude of TV shows to drum up attenion for her disappearance - as any normal parent would, if you were guilty, you wouldn't. |
|
By:

I'm glad you asked me about that one. Apparently took her 3 months to go to the police with her statement (I wonder why given she lived in the above apartment), and not before it had been splashed all over the British press a couple of days earlier. I wonder who made the leak, eh? Also made the point to the Portugese police that it was a child older than 2 years old, I wonder why... |
|
By:
Grow up, George.
The pool photo was on the same stick as the Tennis photo. The tennis photo (penultimate photo) was chosen for reasons detailed (can you remember me explaining them or do you need further hand feeding?). There was no failure to produce the Tennis photo at the time..it simply wasn't chosen. |
|
By:
It was also released in time to clash with the findings of the sniffer dogs. Fancy that...
|
|
By:
You think Mrs Fenn was in on it too? Maybe she was a (female) Mason and told what to say? You thunk?
The delay in her statement in indicative of the balls up the Portuguese police made of the whole thing. |

Pretty harsh can't see much they could have done that they didn't without applying hindsight. |

So a guilty parent would not go on tv. People will do whatever it takes to put people off the trail. Remember this is all about raking in cash now,

It's OK, itcanbedone, I'm going to leave you to it, you're clearly the 'expert', capable of debunking the debunkings and 'putting it all to bed'. Good for you!
Mind, I would suggest you take the time to watch those 'random' youtube links that I posted, not saying you have to agree with them, obviously, but it may improve your knowledge of the information surrounding the case, as it does seem to be a bit lacking. That is all. Good night. |

I read this the other day aswell, cant remember where tho, dodgy as feck I'd be very surprised if that was the case as I doubt anyone outside of the Mccann's could confirm they did this unless they told someone about it. |

Remember how they acting like celebs in the beginning. No normal innocent OR guilty parents would act this way.
I've just reread that and it WRONG. A normal innocent person who lost a child could not do it and wouldn't but a guilty person possibly could because they feel they have to. |
