Sadly we are always controlled one way or another.
We just choose our controller, that is if we are given any choice of course? I believe fully in choice. |

please show the proof for - the big bang?
please show the proof for multi dimensions? please show me proof of how much you love your parents or children? why do we name everything... in scientific terms please. |

Who doesn't believe in free choice?
Whether you get it... that's another matter. |
|
By:
There is proof for the Big Bang....the background of microwaves in the Universe.
Multi dimensions...theoretical at the moment. I cannot define love in scientific terms as it is an emotion. Whether we ever get free choice is an interesting question. My post is allowing both bigHs and your beliefs zorro...that is how I am using choice here. |

Neither are we Ron from observation
![]() You have overwhelmed me with wikiislam tbh Ron...that would take a great of understanding of politics at the time. I note Islam does acknowledge Jesus.... I try not to take sides, since it does not appear to be productive...so I acknowledge all views. |

We should offer a reward of one billion pounds to anyone who can solve all this.
I feel it is detracting us from the real problems of the world......how to make it better for everyone regardless of what they believe in. |

Only one billion £, Mungo?
What is money worth to you? Jesus cost nothing - yet a great much. |

But despite my study of the occult, he has not put in an appearance....so Satan is a sad disappointment to me. I am poor...so Jesus must love me I suppose....but I keep thinking of the money ![]() |

satan (with a small "s") rules the world, Folks. Hence the mess we are living in.
Call us Jesus, ebuGery & see how you feel then. No offence intended. Just do it. Really! |

the big bang THEORY ? Meaning it's a theory which a lot of physicists dispute - it no longer fits? It basically was a band aid to cover the gap of what they don't know. 1950-2014 - it was nice it made us look smart.
Einstein once said - We still do not know one-thousandth of one percent of what nature has revealed to us. Edison - We don't know a millionth of one percent about anything. |

People scared of being loved?
some people prefer to have an enemy? Science is a religion too - people tend to forget that the greatest scientists were believers too? |

Einstein once said - We still do not know one-thousandth of one percent of what nature has revealed to us. Edison - We don't know a millionth of one percent about anything. You cannot say the Big Bang theory no longer fits...since it is still the consensus view. Some scientists challenge it of course because that is how science works, one problem is Quantum Physics. You are right about Einstein and Edison, in fact one could say, the more we discover the less we know. So the creationist theory is still an option zorro, not ruled out entirely yet with me, proof is the problem of course. |

good luck finding proof in your life time. I found faith in mine. And it's at the 100 percent level. Not less than one percent.

Right then- research takes a while :) M was a merchant known for his honest dealings who , in his 30's , became disenchanted with his 'modern life' and the corruption around him - and the worship of 'false gods' - who increasingy left the city to wander the desert and to think and reflect upon life; when his revelations came to him he was petrified and afraid- reportedly shaking uncontrolably -so something happened which shook him to the core , alone in the desert-- bit like jesus ? I was expecting to learn about a bloody barsteward living in barbaric times - whilst the latter is true through our eyes - from what i've read/ absorbed recently - the former is most certainly not. Just for the record: I am not pro-Islam - I denounce all terrorist acts and I think the world might well be a better place without any religion. The best analysis I have found is from the BBC - a series of 3 documentaries available on youtube - heres the first link- part 1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oVGieY0W6lY Re his murdering people: recommend you focus on the documentary part 2 and about the killing of upto 700 jews: Context : at the time the penalty for stealing a loaf of bread was death; M was now leader of his tribe; he had twice told the jewish tribe which attacked his to decease- the 2nd time he banished them -after the third attack when they had not left M, - even then- did not order executions-incredibly he walked away saying that they must be judged and if found guilty punished - the Jews themselves appointed an independent arbiter to judge them according to law- and the arbiter ordered the executions. Do some reading - watch the videos The claim is that M said his revelations directed holy war was just and right 'to protect yourself' and that it was not until a century after his death that this was perverted by disgrunted minorities within Islam Read / watch about Mecca containing Jews/Christians and Muslims living in one community in M's home town during his lifetime / reign as leader.- and about the subsequent 'Golden Age ' when the same happened in Spain following the Moors invasion in 711 ad I'll have a look at the killings listed of individual 'poets' etc Again- I've o axe to grind here; I'm white english atheist and was never taught anything about this in school and am worried about rampant immigration cheers for now ![]() |

Well researched lmfao.
I've more or less give up looking, as there's different versions and interpretations it seems impossible to know whats true & whats not. |
|
By:
I think that the one profound difference between Jesus the man and M is that M became a tribal leader - with that came the responsibility to protect his people weighed down by the burden of politics and the laws of his time ; J did not and was free to preach whatever he liked - tho there were consequences !
Another difference is that M's life is documented to a much greater degree than J's some even claim J cannot be proved to have existed- but i guess that's another discussion.... |
|
By:
watch the videos Ron- its the BBC so its only slightly biased

that's already what i was thinking!

You are one of the few who gives M a good press lmfao.
I might watch those documentaries. I feel things have got somewhat out of hand circa the last 25 years, because of Americas somewhat heavy booted approach to solving the Middle East. Because we in Europe rather unwisely supported them we are taking a Muslim backlash. Muslims don't see things the same as us, that is also clear. It does create problems with them being in our societies. Although I do not think people realise how much we have changed ourselves since to 60's. Mass immigration was never a good idea, but we cannot tell our own leaders that , still we voted them in.I just want to see some compromise here in an attempt to reduce the current hate levels. I think Trump could be the man. If you see what he says, he is not as extremist as you think, he will offer a hand. |

cheers e
currently I truely don't think M was anything other than a good guy - but as ever its what some others have made of him / his revelations/teachings which have perverted what he may have stood for also Its difficult to understand the minds of those living in different times / cultures - from what little i've grasped from numerous trips around europe - sometimes with historians and /or archeologists - the medieval mindset was so very different to ours; years back i was in Senegal : met a traumatised UN aid worker resting from work in Mali - he threatened to retract all food aid from an area unless a General in the civil war withdrew his order to an old man to carry his rice . I let the guy get whatever was causing him obvious stress time to chill / have a glass or 2 and go for a swim- but i could not understand him at all- why was he so stressed and why would he react so badly to a civilian being slightly bossed by a general? 2 days later i found out that the general was a 14 year old gun happy executioner who pointed hi rife at the aid worker , the old man was indeed frail , the rice was a big sack and the journey was a 2 days walk across a scortching desert. I vowed not to judge without trying to understand first- if possible. |

You seem to have had experience of life lmfao. You are right, things are rarely as black and white as people think.
To judge History one must use the values of the time, or we would not get it. Later values keep changing, so it is not a lot of use using them. We could learn from History if we used it properly but we never do. I will try to learn something of the life of M, and try to judge using the values of the time. |
