If they don't get a DNA match on her clothing from his body they can't prove it was him, and the case stays open.
|
|
By:
it will be a miracle if they can get anything useful after such a long time
just beggars belief that supposedly the biggest police operation in years couldn't a find a body in woods a mile or two of where she went missing |
|
By:
His case may stay 'open' yet. Nobody has specified suicide.

Plod are now looking for a Bolshevik hit man.

Either utter incompetence by plod, orrrrrr, an extremely well planned and devious web of mystery will one day unfold..

By:
he presumably got into this country through the same gate a 15 yr old girl left this country for syria
![]() ![]() ffs, they can spot someone smuggling in a few duty free ****, apart from that its an open shop..... ![]() ![]() |

whats up with the word f a g s.

I hate to labour the point but contraband is dosh, whereas peoples lives account for phack all..
|

Could it be that he hung himself somewhere else whilst they were searching - and only later relocated himself to that particular tree. Pretty spectacular planning imo.
|
|
By:
Just read he was sentenced to just 7 1/2 years for the premeditated murder of his wife & was released 2 years early
![]() What sort of country gives a sentence of less than eight years for planning & executing a murder ! I would hate to be living there & upset someone, there would be little hesitation if you are that way inclined to go a murder someone if your going to get out after a few years. |

Police believe body in west London wood is that of Alice Gross's killer
Plod in same league as CCDA (although CCDA isnt paid), isnt that jumping the gun a tad exactly what evidence do they have. They didnt have enough to even issue a warrent yesterday, now body found he is Alice Gross's killer |
|
By:
The man is missing - they have a body in the area.
What more dya need! |
|
By:
Five and a half years he spent in jail after being released Two years early .
|
|
By:
I blame the Bolsheviks...
|
|
By:
assuming it is him for the moment, to say he is her killer when yesterday they just wanted to speak to him and didnt have enough evidence to charge him
![]() Plod looking to draw a line under this and move on before his body is even moved or Alices cause of death known |
|
By:
They won't only want him for this murder. I would suggest they would like to 'clear the books' on a few more..
|
|
By:
What about a third party involvement?
Say, for example, he saw Alice being attacked and went to assist her - but got murdered himself. |
|
By:
not going to fly, they have dead girl and dead killer. QED for plod, remember 600 of them cant find 2 dead bodies in a square mile in 5 weeks searching
|
|
By:
he could be hanging high up and invisible from the ground ,it is dense cover so need to wait and see why they are saying badly decomposed yet people saying area was searched .
still dont understand how it took five days to find Alice's bag , it could have been lifted by someone and then returned . lets wait and see ,am sure there will be a public enquiry . |
|
By:
Say, for example, he saw Alice being attacked and went to assist her - but got murdered himself.
Also he went missing 5 days after Alice |
|
By:
Alice's bag being so visible and her shoes in it is a puzzle after someone going to great lengths to conceal body .
i have considered a few scenarios .... |
|
By:
It took that long for third party to find him ;)
|
|
By:
I'm still flummoxed.
None of it makes any sense to me. And now with this ongoing scenario, it will not get any clearer. There is now nothing to stop a few white fibs being banded about, there is no one to contradict anything plod says. A public inquiry? Zero chance imho.. |

he presumably got into this country through the same gate a 15 yr old girl left this country for syria The difference being that as a european he could come and go as he pleased, criminal record or not. So Cameron pledging that he will find out how he got into the UK is all bollocks. He doesn't even know his own rule book. As for the 15 year old girl, her mother said she suspected nothing. Of course she didn't, apart from her daughter asking for the air fare or using mums credit card to book the flight. |
|
By:
taxi, is a 15yr old girl legally allowed out of the country ??, why wasnt she challenged about where she was going, why she was going,
on what business, etc etc, someones badly cocked up at the airport control imo. |
|
By:
If he intended suicide ... it seems strange the lengths taken to hide the body.
I suggest an abduction, followed by a sex crime - possibly in the woods. I seem to remember he didn't disappear for some days after Alice Gross was missing ... perhaps this was when he hid the body, initially in the woods or a property .. followed by planning the disposal in the water. The anguish and guilt must have come later leading to suicide. The police regarded Alice as missing rather than murdered initially. Perhaps this enabled him to access the site where he hid the body. It's difficult to believe he was able to hide the body in broad daylight on the day Alice went missing. |
|
By:

They probably did find him but kept schtumm. Overtime doesn't grow on trees imo. |
|
By:
^ obviously you didn't have to wait long !

By:

From what I read the area was cordoned off for the search in sections. When they moved on to the next area, the blue and white police tape was no doubt removed, giving the murderer (or an accomplice) a chance to put the body where the police had already searched. |
|
By:

An interesting theory Curious Cat and may well be true. However as far as I know we haven't been told the circumstances of the second death so we don't yet know if it was suicide. Suppose Alice had arranged a meeting over the internet with her killer and following her disappearance someone else accessed that message and did something about it. CCDA working hard here. |

Still no news of the cause of death. All very quiet in fact..

My wife is a foreigner Moisok. She brought 40 years of working all hours as a nurse and paying taxes. There are countless others like her. Don't lump the vast majority in with a few criminals, we have plenty of home grown murderers too. |

By:
We do, but we can't deport those any more.
