In this case they have measured that racism is a bigger crime than gang rapes of under aged girls. |

Shaun Wright has no chance of seeing this through, showing the same poor judgement now in refusing to resign as he showed in far more serious circumstances earlier.
Arguably he's lucky not to be the subject of a criminal investigation, his position is completely untenable, yet another case of power in the hands of the wrong person for the wrong reasons. I don't see the media letting this go and he'll surely be gone before the week is out. |

The Muslim community in Rotherham must have known whats being going on for a long time, yet their elders appear to have done or said nothing.
Makes you wonder what's gone on in other Muslim ghettos like Bradford, Burnley and Blackburn. The UK needs to be rid of Muslims, the true levels of disturbance amongst their communities is beginning to surface worldwide. Those responsible for letting them in the UK have betrayed our homeland and those who sacrificed their lives in 2 world wars for our freedom. |

I think they were mainly in homes or with parents that didnt give a fook.
It was reported today that 2 fathers tried to stop these crimes at the scenes and the fathers were arrested. |

I am not remotely deluded. There are many, mostly Labour, councillors who have spent years preaching positive discrimination, which, after all, is still discrimination. There has been unfettered immigration for 50 years which when coupled with racism which is innate in all of us, has caused more problems than can be listed here. The behaviour and crimes of these groups of Pakistani men should result in at least (a shame the law doesn't allow bigger punishment) life imprisonment. Anyone who covered it up should be sacked from whatever job they're doing and be incarcerated too.
However, whilst I have NO time whatsoever for any politician - even an inept one trying to bluster his way through a journalist's questioning, I fail to see what this MacShane geezer's expense fiddling has to do with the rape, torture, kidnap and abuse of so many young girls. Some people use this forum to blame Labour for everything whilst w@nking off over the Tories. It's as if the suggestion is that these crimes are Labour policy. |

Have you actually taken time to read the full report ? I guess you only read whats been reported by certain media outlets in your favourites. Im still confused why someone who has been done for fiddling his expenses is automatically written off from having a view. Without being harsh that is the sort of view the SY police had about the damaged girls who said something after doing wrong in their past. |

Tbh this is all getting a bit silly. The PCC posts were only introduced by this government in the face of mass apathy across the country. The calls for this bloke to resign as PCC are not because he stuffed up as PCC but because he used to be responsible for children at the council -- but he has already resigned from the council. Should he quit? Probably but it won't help a single child who was abused then or is being abused now. |

People shouldn't stand in fear of being called racist. Those hiding perpetrating and those hiding these crimes use the "Rascism" comments as the first line of defence. Being called racist could be considered a good thing if it protects innocent children from these monsters.

Should he quit? Probably but it won't help a single child who was abused then or is being abused now. As pointed out above, the abuse continued through 2013, he was elected in 2012 - as far as I understand there have been no convictions since 2010. He's big on 'lessons learned' but it seems he's failed to use the learnings which forced him to resign as council leader in 2010 effectively in his new role. There are wider questions about how Labour thought his candidature was appropriate given he was in charge of Children's Services at Rotherham Council between 2005 and 2010 and in the light of the convictions in 2010 - and how he then got elected to the role, written with the benefit of hindsight of course and probably a case of the electorate not joining the dots...it does smack of getting the politicians we deserve though. I do agree it's all getting a bit silly - he's a sideshow and detracting focus from the key issue, if he had a scintilla of integrity, he'd have resigned by now. |

Daniel Cookson, aged 27, who was previously based in Rotherham, was charged with the offence on Thursday, August 21. The case was adjourned. He was suspended when arrested last November. |

Sadly none of these revelations are surprising. People from certain countries behave in ways which we might view as barbaric, criminal and disgraceful but that is the way they are and its been hugely naive to think that by moving here they would change.
The true scale of these crimes will start to emerge now and countrywide the figures will be horrendous and must call into question the future in the UK of these communities as im sure the majority of British people have just about had enough of them. |
