I started with William Hill in 1995, I would often cover in their office near Rotherham market and it was pretty obvious what was going on. The police back then and now pick and choose what they see and look into.

Despite Stone's resignation, chief executive Martin Kimber said no council officers will face disciplinary action.

Above from a Guardian article.

Seriously, what is wrong with people. No other species abuses, rapes, tortures and murders their own young and we are supposed to be the the pinnacle of evolution.

Our libertarians believe we are the pinnacle of civilisation because we always consider the poor unfortunate rapist, murderer and thug who has had to contend with terrible poverty and deprivation brought about by a capitalist society.

The recent conviction of a child exploitation grooming gang in Oxford was only the latest in a string of such cases. Now police have revealed at least another 54 grooming gangs are under investigation across England and Wales.
Grooming gangs in Rotherham, Derby, Bradford, Blackpool, Telford, and Oxford are just the tip of the iceberg it transpires. The BBC reported the figure of 54 grooming gangs under investigation was cited by former Labour Attorney General Lord Morris of Aberavon in the House of Lords. Morris raised the question:
"Is it collective amnesia that has blinded us to the underlying circumstances, whereby at least 27 police forces are investigating 54 alleged child grooming gangs? Why has investigating and prosecuting in so many different parts of the country taken so much time? Is it the fear of racialism, or is it the fact that many of these vulnerable girls come from care homes?"
Thus far the majority of convictions obtained against the child sex grooming gangs have been against men of Pakistani origin that have exploited, repeatedly gang-raped and sexually tortured vulnerable young girls over long periods.

Depressingly it really is no surprise. You are talking about people who stone women to death in the land in which they originate. You get chunts like George Galloway calling us knuckledraggers for not accepting them. You couldn't make it up .

I joined UKIP last year after being sick and tired of the liberal attitude to our open door immigration and reluctance to protect let alone celebrate our British culture..

Not saying they're the answer but the other 3 certainly aren't.

Just wish the whole country would rebel against the liberals of all political persuasions who have allowed this PC filth to fester, prosper and lead to this horrific situation.

And if the police and civil servants are prepared to regard the stench of racism to be more important than the evil act of child abuse, what else have they deemed to be of less importance? Slavery, multiple fraudulent benefit claims, petty crime, tax evasion, charity fraud, selective investigations by the CSA ?
A lot of this will be vehemently denied by the likes of Vaz, Abbott and Phillips, who are the first to shout "Racist", "Bigot" the loudest when confronted by these questions, but perhaps this might be a catalyst to allow some proper debate without the fear of social stigma.

Three reports between 2002 and 2006, the first one the Police did not believe, the second and third they simply ignored.

Also a group of professionals attempted to monitor a number of children believed to be at risk, "managers gave little help or support to their efforts".

Now then why shouldn`t these individuals be dragged in for thorough questioning. There must have been collusion as you say, how do we so easily put these things down to incompetence which then is covered by an apology.

This seems systemic the more i read about these cases. Paedophiles in high places?

Every single copper, councillor, social worker or other public sector worker who knew and turned a blind eye to this should hang their heads in shame and have the decency to hold their hands up and resign or be ferreted out, prosecuted and have their hefty public sector pensions rescinded.

spot on  mad moon

Im not sure if the situation can be reversed, political correctness and the fear of being branded a racist has led to these shocking stories of what these Pakistani men have done and got away with. I feel sick to the stomach.

And people like Dianne abbot / George Galloway should think twice about playing the race card. It's people like them who use it  all the time that has led to others having turned a blind eye to the vile acts we now read about.

These are not isolated incidents about a few men of Pakistani origin, these now appear widespread and on a huge scale.

Sad

I suspect so too MisterBadger, it seems endemic in many public sector professions. So many have become all powerful, subject to no enquiry process other than ones they have put in place, and the public seem to have sleep walked into apathetic acceptance of the slow erosion of civil liberties & freedoms, allowing these institutions to become ever more powerful because we are too damn idle and like the quiet life, as long as their actions are not affecting us and ours, to do anything about it.

Former Rotherham MP Denis MacShane today pleaded guilty at the Old Bailey to making bogus expenses claims of nearly £13,000

The ex-Labour minister admitted false accounting by putting in fake receipts for £12,900 of “research and translation” services.

He used the money to fund trips to Europe, including to judge a literary competition in Paris.

Asked to enter a plea to the charge in a hearing at the Old Bailey, MacShane replied: “Guilty.”

Sentencing was adjourned until December 19, and he was granted unconditional bail

Mr Justice Sweeney told MacShane, who was wearing a dark suit with white shirt and striped tie, that “all sentencing options remain open”.

The admission comes after more than four years in which MacShane’s expenses have been under scrutiny.

The Commons authorities began looking at his claims when the wider scandal engulfed Westminster in 2009.

They referred the matter to police within months after identifying potential criminal activity.

But the long-standing principle of parliamentary privilege meant detectives were not given access to damning correspondence with the standards commissioner in which MacShane described how signatures on receipts from the European Policy Institute (EPI) had been faked.

The EPI was controlled by MacShane and the general manager’s signature was not genuine.

One letter, dated October 2009, described how he drew funds from the EPI so he could serve on a book judging panel in Paris.

But the letters only emerged in November last year after Scotland Yard said it was taking no further action and the cross-party standards committee published a report recommending a 12-month suspension from the House.

MacShane, who served as Europe minister under Tony Blair, resigned as MP for Rotherham before the punishment could be imposed.

Police re-opened their probe in the light of the fresh evidence and the 65-year-old was charged in May - even though the letters are still not thought to be admissible in court.

The offence covered 19 receipts that MacShane filed between January 2005 and January 2008.

White English girls for expenses? They all thought he was doing a wonderful job .

Another day passes and yet more Muslim atrocities make headlines in the news, this time on our doorstep.   Legislation needs to be put through to get the abusers deported  or if they were born here ,put down like the animals they are.
Don't believe that the Police were actively involved , sounds like sh1t stirring from some on here, the Police in general are more anti Muslim than the average man on the street. The Muslims form ghetto type areas , were very few say anything about what's going on and they cover each others
tracks as a collective unit. Very difficult to build up an active picture of what is going on in these types of areas and police them effectively.

Really? What evidence have you got to support that? And if that were the case, would they tend to have more paedophile urges than the "average man on the street"?
