The McCann’s said they checked on the children every 15 minutes, but then they changed their minds and said they checked once every hour, they then said it was once every half-hour. They were under the influence of drink so their sense of time would not be accurate, if they are telling the truth that is. How do we know they even checked on the children at all?
-Two of the best British cadaver dogs were flown to the resort; these two dogs have helped solve over 200 deaths and never been wrong in smelling blood and death. The dogs found blood and cadaverine in the room in the exact same locations as the Portuguese dogs. The British dogs also smelled blood and death in the boot of a rented car in Portugal that the family rented out. Keep in mind these two dogs were taken into the room individually, they both came back with the same results as the Portuguese dogs.
-The McCanns said the British and the Portuguese dogs were wrong.
-The smell of death was found on Kate McCann’s clothes, she said it was because she was a doctor and she has worked with corpses, did she take the same clothes she has been wearing in her surgery as she wore on holiday? Another strange fact.
-The rental Renault Scenic car they rented was put amongst various other cars and the dogs individually identified it as the only car in a car park to have the smell of death/blood on it. Each dog identified the boot as the place where the smell of death had been.
-The McCann’s also refused to answer any of the 48 questions the Portuguese authorities put to them, if they were innocent then why did they not answer the questions? This is not the actions of innocent parents, is it?
-They publicly agreed to take a lie detector, then refused to co-operate.
-They constantly say she was abducted, what about the fact she could have walked out of the room herself? It was reported that Madeleine had a tendency for getting up during the night, yet the McCann’s say she was sound asleep? Did they give her sedatives if she died that night?
-The McCann’s insistence that Madeleine always slept like a log once she had fallen asleep was a lie, family members reported that Madeleine did in fact have a tendency to wake up and wander after being put to bed in her own home. Why was a young girl with a tendency to wander at night being left unsupervised? (that’s if she was still alive at that time)
-The McCann’s say the abductor climbed through the window and took Madeline this way, the window had shutters on it, the McCann’s claim that they abductor broke the shutters to gain entry, yet the shutters had no evidence of damage on them, they can only be opened from the inside of the apartment. There was also no finger prints in the apartment window of anyone else except Kate McCann, even though the McCann’s claim the abductor climbed in and out the window, somehow not managing to leave any prints or damage to the shutters, remember, he/she is carrying a girl that weighed 3 stone yet the abductor manages to get away with not a fingerprint left behind or a shred of DNA?
- The McCann’s also refused to let the twins take drug tests until 5 months after the “abduction” even though by that time drugs would be out of their system. That indicates they have something to hide, I think they drugged Madeleine with sedatives.
-Only 5 photos of Madeleine on holiday yet there were many more of their twins, there is doubt she even died that night.
-Kate McCann publicly admitted that both she and her husband were ‘sleeping normally’ again just five days after Madeleine ‘disappeared’. The behaviour of other parents whose child has been abducted, or has gone missing, or has died, is always very different. They invariably report that they suffer enormous distress at their loss and are usually unable to sleep soundly until months after the event.
- Doing normal, everyday things, immediately after Madeleine ‘disappeared’, but not searching for her:
The McCann’s went jogging every day after Madeleine’s disappearance. He even arranged tennis matches and played tennis, while hundreds of others were physically searching the area around Praia da Luz in the days following Madeleine’s ‘disappearance’. The McCanns later admitted publicly that they spent no time at all physically searching for their lost daughter.
-Why are they using their daughters search fund money to pay their mortgage?

There are many more additional facts to suggest they killed their daughter. It may have been she accidentally overdosed on sedatives, I'm not saying they went out of their way to kill her, but they did do something wrong.

Eventually the truth will arise, the twins they have just now will one day want a lot of answers to why their sister “disappeared”. It is publicly documented and information can be accessed online at the touch of a button, it won’t be long before the McCann’s kids are asking them all of this.

DNA & Forensic results can't tells lies, but human beings can.

“Keela could be described as ‘top dog’ in her field of expertise. The trained Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) dog has skills like no other and it has left forces worldwide hankering after an insight into her special training”, according to South Yorkshire police.

The Springer Spaniel “can sniff out the smallest samples of human blood - even after items have been cleaned or washed many times”, according to the Daily Mail.

And Keela earns more than her Chief Constable, something that doesn't bother Mr. Meredydd Hughes, according to The Times. “PC John Ellis, Keela's handler, said that “she can detect minute quantities of blood that cannot be seen with the human eye” and is able to “sniff out blood in clothes after they have been washed repeatedly in biological washing powder”, also according to The Times.

I don't think it's nasty.

when you're dealing with two highly unlikely events, you need to compare their unlikelihood relative to each other rather than their individual likelihoods.

in addition there's been no evidence to indicate that her parents did it but there's been no evidence that she was abducted.

it seems perfectly probable that accidental death attributable to her parents is a possible explanation.

The plain fact is she was taken while this pair of coonts were out on the lash.

That was step number one (as far as we know, who knows what they else they did) in not sufficiently caring about your children.

Weren't there rumours early on that one of the 'parents' had given the children sleeping tablets?

They are high profile people, so all they did was splattered over the pages of the papers, and I found it astonishing that they got sympathy for their own selfish behaviour.

If he had been a lorry driver and she worked in Tesco, the British press would have facking slaughtered them.

There is a lot of conflicting information in that post Irish Celtic. For example you state that:

Kate McCann publicly admitted that both she and her husband were ‘sleeping normally’ again just five days after Madeleine ‘disappeared’. The behaviour of other parents whose child has been abducted, or has gone missing, or has died, is always very different. They invariably report that they suffer enormous distress at their loss and are usually unable to sleep soundly until months after the event.

If, as you allege, they had killed Madeline they would have followed the pattern above and been wracked by guilt. Throw in the fact that you allege they were behaving "normally" and hat doesn't suggest people who are trying to hide a dark secret but people in shock. People do the strangest things when in shock including appearing to behave normally in extreme circumstances.

Again if you allege they killed Madeline that night with an overdose why are you also introducing the absence of photos and suggesting she was killed earlier on the holiday.

There's plenty of your evidence which doesn't seem to add up. What are you seeking to hide? Confess all.

I see it as squeeze firmly does. Their profession as a respectable middle class couple saved them from dogs abuse which if a single mum had done what they did would have been unremitting. Doesn't mean they killed Madeline though.

They will NEVER be able to "move on", no matter how innocent they may be, and of course they will have to live with it, always.

Sorry Alias but they have to move on, as they have two other children, are these children going to spend their entire
childhood in mourning for Madeleine?, because that would surely mess them up.

McCann's job as parents, is to now offer these children a caring upbringing..
they failed with Madeleine, I hope they don't fail these other two

I hope they find Madeleine alive of course, although is it credible??
The police must follow up on genuine leads, but I really hope millions are not being wasted
trying to cover up for the McCanns, they were guilty of Negligence whether Madeleine is found alive or not
and should admit it and move on. But yes they will always carry a deep emotional wound

I don't really know what dogs abuse is, but they've had far more grief because they're middle-class than if they were working class. Countless stories of far worse neglicence since, none have stayed in the headlines for long, simply because we don't expect much better from the lower end of society.

Who is in the lower end of society?

Couldn't possibly include the ones that mutilate young black girls, or the witchraft killings of young black boys and girls, as is their custom they bring to these shores. You don't hear much about it, but it happens, that's a certainty.

Or asian gangs of paedophiles picking on white girls in care, as is their habit. You don't hear much about it, until it gets to court, and you wonder why police never got to them earlier.

Yes, very much violent parents, and child abusers, far worse than a couple who may have made a bad call over their child's security.

Well I don't think what they did was that bad, certainly my parents left me alone at that age. People posting that YOU NEVER LET YOUR CHILD OUT OF YOUR SIGHT are talking nonsense. How much grief has Jamie Bulger's mother had for letting him out of her sight? Pretty much none that I've seen, and rightly so. They're just targeted because they're well-off. and people are jealous.

I am sorry Clunge...
Parents do not leaves 3 children under 5 unattended while they go out on the pi$$  It is  not on. They were very negligent
One child is almost certainly dead because of thisSad

Despite what you say they would have got it worse it they were on benefits. They would have been reached apart by the tabloids
as the Philpot's were. They have been lucky by comparison

I accept they are not bad people.. but they made a bad mistake...and must learn to live with it

The reason it is still in the media is because of the McCanns themselves.. they are obsessed.
They have 2 other children to bring up, they could have more, they could adopt. So they still have a job in life.

Other parent's such as April's have to learn to live with this. If the McCanns can't,
it is because of their own guilt...they must own up to it and move on

I hope Madeleine is found alive. But I no sympathy for the McCanns
By:

It seems to me that whatever the McAnns do will be regarded as some sort of indication of guilt by certain posters. I really don't know how you can hold so much hate for people who made a wrong decision which will haunt them for the rest of their lives.
It is something that all parents do, albeit probably for different reasons. I can recall being left in the car with a bottle of 'pop' and a packet of crisps. Who can't? I COULD have been stolen, of course. But by whom? It doesn't happen...except it did!
As regards some single mother getting 'dogs abuse'...that remark is laughable. It would done and forgotten in three months! The McAnns have carried out this quest for years, and will, no doubt, continue. That really is not the type of behaviour that I would expect from somebody who was trying to hide something.

Anyway, this is going to get longer and longer and the vindictive ones among you will continue to spout your bile, probably because it gives them pleasure.

In this life we all make mistakes, usually with no lasting harm. Sometimes things go tragically wrong.

I'm sure all of you who can remember being left on your own while your parents went out can also remember being able to go out without locking the house. Bet there aren't many who'd leave a door unlocked now.

Also, if a couple over here went out and left three infants unattended, I'm sure Social Services might have something to say. It wasn't simply a case of 'in this life we all make mistakes' at all. It was grossly negligent imo.
