At the start of the search for Tia, male family members were shaking the hand of SH and female members of the family were kissing him on the cheek, all in his support and against the press for hounding him.

How wrong they were, but this happens time and time again with family refusing to believe that person they trusted could be involved.

See they have seen all the kind things he had done for Tia over the 5 years or so. Of cause they are now simmering with rage.

He had no previous for child abuse.

He had looked after her for 5 years and never gave any indication that he would harm her. Hindsight is 20/20. He was a con man and as i have mentioned before he would have been petrified of the males in the family, so he hid any indications very well.

Tia spent every other weekend with her step gran and Christines house was more of a refuge.

Tia must have spent other nights there with SH of course.

Just to make it clear. If i had a 12 year old daughter, i would be making sure that if she was staying at her grans i would double check gran was going to be there for the night.
