A couple from Whaley Bridge has been spotted zooming around in their speedboat laughing at everyone. When asked by the media what they were doing the husband replied,
"Just a bit of payback for all those that laughed at us when we won a speedboat on Bullseye in the eighties. " |

I was in the kitchen. There was a knock on the back door. I opened it. There was a tramp there, very dishevelled. "Could I have a slice of cake?" What? "Could I have a slice of cake. It's my birthday ... I'm an old soldier". Were you at the front? "Yes, but no one answered." |

The wife was trying to be sexy last night, laying on the bed sliding her lollipop in and out of her f*nny and then licking it.
“Steady love” I said “you’ll need that in the morning to see the kids across the road”. |

On a more serious note (apologiies bigmo) I think we need to look at today's Stock Market News...
Helium was up, feathers were down. Paper was stationary. Fluorescent tubing was dimmed in light trading. Knives were up sharply. Cows steered into a bull market. Pencils lost a few points. Hiking equipment was trailing. Elevators rose, while escalators continued their slow decline. Weights were up in heavy trading. Light switches were off. Mining equipment hit rock bottom. Diapers remain unchanged. Shipping lines stayed at an even keel. The market for raisins dried up. Coca Cola fizzled. Caterpillar stock inched up a bit. Balloon prices were inflated. Toilet Tissue touched a new bottom. |

Saw an elderly man get out of his car to escort an even more elderly woman, who I can only assume to be his mother, to a care home. To reduce the walk he parked on double yellow lines.
Second later and WHACK! Parking ticket on the windscreen. "What an idiot" I muttered. And if he takes much longer I might give him another one. |

A frog goes into a bank and approaches the teller. He can see from her nameplate that her name is Patty Whack.
"Miss Whack, I'd like to get a $30,000 loan to take a holiday." Patty looks at the frog in disbelief and asks his name. The frog says his name is Kermit Jagger, his dad is Mick Jagger, and that it's okay, he knows the bank manager. Patty explains that he will need to secure the loan with some collateral. The frog says, "Sure. I have this," and produces a tiny porcelain elephant, about an inch tall, bright pink and perfectly formed. Very confused, Patty explains that she'll have to consult with the bank manager and disappears into a back office. She finds the manager and says, "There's a frog called Kermit Jagger out there who claims to know you and wants to borrow $30,000, and he wants to use this as collateral." She holds up the tiny pink elephant. "I mean, what in the world is this?" (You're gonna love this.) The bank manager looks back at her and says, "It's a knick knack, Patty Whack. Give the frog a loan. His old man's a Rolling Stone." (You sang it, didn't you? Yeah, I know you did.) Never take life too seriously. |
