If the B/F made a call on his mobile on Friday evening from Sheffield surely they know the time it was made. Maybe he didnt make one.

Just noticed there's a Drug Rehab centre a short distance away from her house maybe it was a drugged up nutter from there.

Need to start strapping some people to lie detector machines.

I think there's now a good chance he's going to get away with it. Seems unlikely they'll find anything in the flat that can't be explained away by him. He probably took a round about way to avoid the CCTV when disposing of the body. He's burnt the pizza box and whatever she was wrapped in when in the car boot including the sock that fell off when he hurriedly left her on the verge.
The post mortem would surely show if she was strangled using a ligature or by hand, both would leave marks. |

It must take a real, real psycho to kill his own girlfriend in their own flat and then drive about with the body in your car before dumping it a short distance from your door step and then managing to present yourself to the police without appearing shifty.
By:
About to kill at the time she remembered the pizza .Otherwise would have killed her in the flat no need to dump the body then.

No way the boyfriend.

If the B/F made a call on his mobile on Friday evening from Sheffield surely they know the time it was made. Maybe he didnt make one. People still banging on that the boyfriend did it ! |
By:
If the police had even the slightest suspicion or doubt about the boyfriend they would have had him in ages before damaging the teacher's reputation. Believe me. They didn't take the teacher in before seriously weighing up the consequences.
By:
They couldn't have thought it through that well LL, they appear ro have arrested him without any evidence.
By:
They possibly expected a confession but overlooked his intellect and coolness under pressure.
By:
yep understand what you say about B/F Lucan but his reaction seems all wrong, if he not done it could he have paid someone
to, then create his perfect alibi |
By:
During interview they can quiz him on circumstantial evidence found in flat but provided he responds with a "no comment" to everything, as he will have been advised to do, that's as far as it goes...circumstantial and insufficient to bring charges.

he's just a mad eccentric...they(keystone cops) must not have had a clue from day 1 if they chose to comb over cj for so long
By:
I don't think they're ever going to catch the person who killed her.

I've no doubt the police know who there man is but until they find the missing link he's home and dry.

great thread guys

so missing so far are sock, pizza, shoe and a link
By:
Both her boots were there it's just the sock and pizza.

socks and pizza and not a sniffer dog in sight

the police should look at one of there own or a son of a copper they wanted to fit the old boy up quickly but failed
By:
Could I just point out that perhaps the sock details were withheld in order to be able to exclude any hoaxers claiming to have done it. It does happen. The police were led totally astray be that stupid fella who claimed to be the Yorkshire Ripper.

"The only thing we can be sure of is that The Police are Complete Mugs."
Wouldn't say that, but they are starting to look a bit amateurish here. |

Looks like tommorows Mirror has the front page headline (above story about Beckham and Rednapp managing Enlgnad)
Jo 'Murdered as she picked up her post' New Cop Theory |
By:
It looks like she had got in and started taking off her footwear including one of her socks while enjoying half a cider when the door-bell went and then it happened.IMO it could have been a robbery that went wrong but i don't know .These two stories could be linked Claudia Lawrence.Just call me Sherlock !

sparkmasteri think she was told to grab her(sock) on the way out possibly with the two assailants if there were two seems like it was if what the
landlord had originally said.Seen 3 people leaving.even if it wasn't the landlord himself ! |
By:
why?
By:
Holding back the sock news is probably another result of the police being sure it was the landlord.
Hold back the news to trap the landlord, but then when the DNA clears him, the police suddenly need to know where the sock is. |
By:
Just been watchign sky news and they had martin brunt and some ex murder expert and they went to the scene where body was found against a wall and showing behind it etc where it woudl have been better to have put it but maybe they were desturbed etc,,
but as mentioned yesterday where the family layed the flowers doesnt seem to be anywhere near the actual place the body was found,, when they showed down the lane etc i coudlnt see anyplace in near distance that resembled the place the family placed the flowers |
By:
The DNA doesn't necessarily clear him if he can quite reasonably explain its presence in the flat, something a landlord might easily be able to do. If on the other hand his DNA is found on say a pair of her knickers then he's in trouble.
Has he resigned his position as leader of the Neighbourhood Watch? Clearly someone wasn't watching very well. |
