My cat vs next door neighbour's cat. Brutal stuff!

Achillies V**a real fight, none of that poncey gloved stuff.

Reminder for all fight fans :

Channel 5 26th July 02:15 - Boxing - Fight of the Week. Boxers not listed.

Sometimes it's the repeat of one shown a few days ago, other times it's a new one. Why aren't boxing fans shown more consideration by the tv companies regarding times/days/listings ? This is another reason I never get enough sleep, I haven't set-up my video recorder yet, (after about14 months !), and end up staying up until all hours just to see things that I like.

I suppose of course, they wouldn't want to impose on anyone who wants to watch the usual dross that is usually on in prime hours. What was it earlier ?

A celebrity**roach-crawling-up-your-conk competition, I suppose.

Sabre, I know what you mean. The printer that I bought with my computer is still in it's box, as I had to spend about 4-5 hours on the phone with the pc helpline and the internet provider when I set that up.The portable tv/vhs set I bought was supposed to be automatic set-up. I couldn't do it.
I asked someone else if they could, and bbc1 and 2 have been on channels 7 and 8 ever since!
I've got no patience at all with modern day equipment. I like controls that you can set up by hand.
Bring back wind-up windows on cars, I say!

P.S i've looked through all the posts and i've decided the greatest fight was Frazier Ali. [ Unoriginal i know ]

I agree with the commentators , if he sorts out his right hand jab he'll be a hand full! Hope they show a golden oldie TT!

Top notch i agree TT! But why oh why won't the tv guides tell us what fights are featured? I'm worn out pal, i dont think we'll get what we want. With all due respect the kick boxing is on at an earlier time.Never gunna be as popular as the real thing!

Butler to Stand Trial for Murder of Max Kellerman's Brother

Professional boxer James Butler has been ordered to stand trial for murder in the death of Sam Kellerman, the brother of boxing commentator Max Kellerman. Butler, 32, was also ordered to stand trial on an arson charge for allegedly setting fire to Kellerman's Los Angeles apartment after killing him with a hammer on Oct. 17 of last year. Butler, who had been staying as a guest at Kellerman's apartment, is best known for losing to Richard Grant and then sucker-punching him on national television as Grant approached Butler to hug him after the fight. Butler did time in jail for that punch but served his time and eventually resumed his boxing career. Tragically, it turns out Butler should have never been released from prison.

........... I thought I'd copy and paste to save anyone the bother of googling the early link.

Thanks, TR14.

Bruce Lee v Chuck Norris in Way of the Dragon, a choreographed fight I know but What a fight, its incredible, the techniques are out of this world and the speed and precision is like nothing ive seen since and it has a fluidity that cannot overstated and when you consider the lack of special effects involved in this film and the fantastic control shown by both of them you realise what a phenomenal fighter Bruce Lee really was and just how deadly he could be. The importance of this fight scene in movie fights is legendary.

Watch it again youll see what I mean, just incredible. :D

This is the last time I will send this one back up if no one else wishes to add to it. Thanks lads, if it has run it's natural course. I've enjoyed reading the contributions on here.

As Kq - the originator of this thread seems happy for me to carry on, (he ^ it less than 1 hour later, and I know he's in Spain at the moment and only popping into a internet cafe once in a while), I will carry on.

I also find it handy to try to alert people about tv programmes about boxing, seeing as they are usually on at such an ungodly hour, a lot of people, (including myself), miss them.

What's more, on Campo's return from his unjustified ban, I believe he may be adding to this thread about old boxing videos that he's been viewing.

Tonight's programmes are, (which actually means they are on Monday morning) :

CH4 03:30 - 04:00, KOTV - Boxing magazine show, featuring action from around the world.

CH5 04:30 - 06:00, Boxing Classic - Graham Earl v Kevin Bennett - A chance to see the Commonwealth and British Lightweight title fight at York Hall in Bethnal Green.

Willie Pep predicts he'll win the 3rd round without throwing a punch. He does! Wins 240 fights in a pro career ,never equalled! Why do i see this stuff at 3.30am?

best fight ever end of no bother even questioning it was some bloke called mcauley
cant remember the other blokes name.

Hello Tommy
