Can't see anything beating Constitution Hill. Think he is going to end up being the next superstar and will only make a better Chaser.

By:
Constitution Hill = Douvan / Altior / Shishkin?
|

As long as a horse is way above anything else having easy races the longevity will be there. Once they have a hard race is when the problems start which is why trainers try to avoid running against each other
|
By:
DD looks weak supreme now
|
By:
Could be a tell like Ferny Hollow was from the same stable!
|

DD reroute? Supreme looks vindaloo.
|
By:
DD looks likely to run in Supreme with Sir Gerard in Ballymore looking at betting since Sunday.
Interesting one is Kilcruit. Off a mark in the early 140’s why would they take in the Supreme when the Martin Pipe would be far easier and didn’t do Gallopin Des Champs any harm. 16/1 or 8/1 NRNB is quite tempting. |
By:
hope chev park step in and say supreme
|
By:
The reason giggingstown no longer has horses housed in closutton is the owner doesn't tell WPM where to run the horse
|
By:
Am on sir Gerhard by the way in supreme nrnmb on fot £20 but also in a few multis as well nrnmb
|

I backed TSL for the Ballymore at the start of the season, I thought after the Bumper last year as another who suffered from a lack of the winner's pace that he would come into his own when stepped up in trip over hurdles. He ran a mighty race on Sunday trying to serve it up to SG and in so doing should have fended off any idea of a decent handicap mark seeing him end up in a handicap, he surely must be stepped to take his chance in the Ballymore now.
|
By:
Re Kilcruit in the Martin Pipe -- there's a max rating of 145 so be careful. Remember the British handicappers might add a couple of pounds to his Irish mark, whatever that might be.
|
By:
Not sure Kilcruit wants further than 2 miles at the moment.
|
By:
The second to Kilcruit last time was 118 so I’d guess he’d be 140’ish. Can’t win supreme so why not ?
|
By:
What is it now ?
6 out of last 9 irish winners Dont see any thing coming from over there |
By:
personally dont give a rats arse where the mule comes from,,ireland uk or france as long as im on...Gerhard or the mighty potter be just right
|

Reading through W.Mullins' horses he spoke about for Cheltenham he doesn't talk about Dysart Dynamo.
Is he going to leave him at home like he did with Un De Sceaux. |
By:
Yeah, noticed that Brandy, first name I looked for. Hopefully just an oversight by the RP.
|
By:
Hendo has 2 silver-bullets. The last time he had similar I backed the wrong one ie Buveur D'Air. This time I'm not backing JP. Wrong again?
|
By:
Still think W.Mullins will run Sir Gerhard here.
He normally runs his best novice in this race. |
By:
the form of the fav dont look that strong to me.
|
By:
Agree Foyles.
I think Sor Gerhards form is miles clear of anything else in the race. The others are purely visual. |

Reading through W.Mullins' horses he spoke about for Cheltenham he doesn't talk about Dysart Dynamo. But he has. |
By:
Dysart Dynamo and Kilcruit are free running sorts who both look better suited to strongly run 2 miler than going over Ballymore trip.
Agreed Sir Gerards form is right up there but he is the most likely to be suited by the Ballymore trip than the 2 former stablemates. Will Willie want to throw his 3 best novices in against each other in the supreme?? |
By:
He will run in the longer race IMO, he had it all his own way last time out in front but still made mistakes, he could not afford to do that in a Supreme with likely horses around him, he'd lose ground and momentum. He does seem to be pacey between the hurdles but a few times a race the mistakes means he needs to build momentum all over again and for all his "speed" TSL went with him the whole way and he is crying out for a step up in trip and is himself a fair e/w bet in the Ballymore. Missing out the 2nd last hurdle also helped SG wind up going to the last where both the front two made mistakes.

SG better than Honeysuckle at the same age.
Problem is cant jump, got a lot of learning still. |
By:
Mullins has yet another lurking at 16/1 who will enjoy soft or heavy should the weather forecast be correct. I’m sure it was 25/1 last week. El Fabiolo!
My biggest win on this is still constitution hill who I’ve been chipping away at all season tbh as it’s had two great performances against the clock. Jonbon has had a few form boosts this month! |
By:
mike Fogarty seemed convinced SG was going supreme and stable think machine
|
By:
Yes i have heard that fashion.
Price has gone though hasnt it ? |
By:
Yet over last few days been well backed into 3.25 ish for the Ballymore. Whilst drifting for Supreme.

mullins has another French mule won on sunday ,potential runner looking at the markets Bring on the night...the plot thickens
|
By:
Jumped like a mule ................
|
By:
didnt see the race..but willie said he wanted to see if good enuff for fezzie...bought from Fabre sired by Gleneagles 2 giants from the sport of kings
|
By:
Bring On The Night looked decent but time wise 11seconds slower than Flame Bearer in the Grade 2 novice earlier in day .i.e around 60 lengths slower
They went alot slower in B.O.N race and therefore you would think be quicker in 2nd half or last 1/3rd of the race. But that wasnt the case. 2 hoss coming back after 2 year layoff 3rd hoss beaten 8 lengths was beaten 43 lengths on debut 4th hoss beten 12 lengths was beaten 50 lengths on debut So the form looks pretty dire. Would need to improve 2stone to be in the Supreme shake up. But its Mullins and nothing would surprise. |
By:
paddy also shortest price ,read into that what u like,,,talked myself into a pony ew 25/1 nrnb...once he pulls sg out,,goes off 10/1 if it runs...
|

Decision on s g is pauls and willies going over saturday/sunday before
last bit of work early next week |
By:
Sir Gerhard into 2nd fav on here now,a slight
drift in the Ballymore mkt. |
By:
sir gerhard halved in price on the exchange in 24 hours
|
By:
Good because the Supreme is the right race for Sir Gerhard but I'd caution the market is thin and we are now in the Cheltenham preview season, so it could just be a couple of punters reacting to, say, Ruby's view that Sir Gerhard is a 2-miler. I doubt it is Willie's money.
|

Nice to read sensible posts like this^^^ no mention of carrots or juice, and as you say thoughts doing the rounds at preview shows
