my best bet for cheltenham DYNASTE FOR RYNAIR MADE FOR HIM.
By:
With RTR performance today that makes the Don a shoe in to run in the Ryanair now.
By:
nothing i just fancy him race always cuts up and he'll go there

Can't understand the run of Bobs Worth, too bad to be true, looks like a horse that is regressing, Henderson has had very few Grade 1 runners this season compared to Nicholls. Something just not right in his yard. |

Was perfectly happy with Lord Windermere's run yesterday. Half decent ground in March and he'll be very hard to keep out of the frame. I was rather hoping he might have been pushed out to 20/1+ so I could top up some more.
By:
Nice seasonal debut from Carlingford Lough on the wrong ground yesterday puts him right in the mix at 33s imo.
By:
I think Lord Windermere is the only one at the prices to take from the 2 big races.
Smad Place, Many Clouds and Houblon Des Obeaux. I do hope Harry Fry enters Mendip Express |
By:
Dynaste (if they take him). 33/1 and topped up some with 25/1
By:
I'd take the 20's NRNB if you fancy him.
Can't see how the extra 2 furlongs will help him turn the form round but good luck. |
By:
I'm still happy with my main bet on Sam Winner. Yes beaten yesterday, but well in the mix and can see him reversing the form as his Cheltenham form is good, extra 2.5f will help and I think he will be more aggressively ridden in the Gold Cup. Doubt he's as good as Conti but around Cheltenham will help. I'm on at great prices on here, but still think 33/1 is a very fair EW bet.
Got smaller bets on Houblon Des Obaux, Smad Place, Fingal Bay, Boston Bob NRNB and Argocat!!! I'm happy with my cover. |

READING THE LATEST POSTS WE HAVE DONE WELL THIS XMAS WE HAVE NARROWED IT DOWN TO 23 IN THE GOLD CUP

Don Poli wins it
By:
^^^ wins the Gold Cup, this year?
![]() |
By:
Hes avin a laugh mate.....aint he??
Don Poli looks tailor made for the 4 miler to me. |
By:
he's too good for the 4 miler 2nd fav for RSA.
By:
I'd love to see a top jockey market up.
Giggi and Bryan Cooper have so many favs or second favs. Don Poli, Valseur, Don Cossack, Road to Riches, Tell us More, No More Heroes, Lieutenant Colonel. Don must go RSA after that, so I assume Valseur will now go JLT. |
By:
Did not look too good today, AS beats him if he stays.
4 miler Howdi. Mind you hope he stays in the RSA,will help prices on the ones that can win the race.......unless it comes up pretty soft of course. |
By:
RSA all over for Don Poli. RSA always won by thorough stayer and Don Poli has the requisite class
By:
Current fav for the 4 miler, seems fair enough to me.
By:
no chance he goes 4 miles imo.
mullins has said today hes a potential gc horse. they wont send a gc horse to the 4 miler. they've got valseur lido for the JLT, no need to step him up in trip given how he travels. this is all on soft ground and his best form has been on good, 2nd to beat that and won at the festival off 143 over 20.5 furlongs. he should be outright fav for RSA, kings palace false favourite |
By:
Well what they do with him is what they do, im just going on what I saw today.
If he thinks hes a Gold Cup horse, fair enough. Hes never won the race. |
By:
what makes you think he's a 4 miler out of interest
By:
Is Beat That some sort of yardstick??
I know he won a staying hurdle race at Aintree. |
By:
Looked like one today,
Hes beaten by AS if he stays, went past him on the run in.Rallied back, proper stayer. Wont be quick enough at 3m imo. |
By:
Beat that and don poli destroyed the albert bartlett bunch and beat that easily saw off cole harden who has proven a decent animal.
i backed AS today and never thought he looked like getting the better of DP when they kicked clear. if Don Poli isnt quick enough for 3m i'm the pope |
By:
He went past DP and did not stay,DP stays forever.
Look, I may underestimate him,but at some point we make a judgement,i did that today. Anyway we shall see how good DP ends up in time, whatever we say makes no difference really. |
By:
okay, but take DP out and Apache has won 15 lenghts easily. i think he stays 3m, just beaten by the better stayer.
By:
Oh he was definitely beaten by the better stayer alright.
I just think that had AS stayed 3m he would have won that today, going past DP like he did. But yes, your opinion may be right of course, its how I saw it,i don't expect everyone to see it the same. |
By:
of course budd, all fun and games
By:
Have to say i agree with Wicketd here, AS should go JLT and DP RSA. Have backed DP in the RSA today after his win as price woefully short in the any race market and 4 miler. If WM thinks hes a potential future gold cup horse, he runs in the RSA simple as that. Of the two that i think can beat Kings Palace, DP is the one. AS will benefit the most from the slightly shorter distance.
Talking of the 4 miler, Tullow Tank ![]() |
By:
tullow wouldnt stay surely
very wood for the 4 miler if anything |
By:
Yeh, a lot seem to be relying on Mullins saying hes a Gold Cup horse and I guess if he does say that and hes genuine?? then the RSA would be favourite, but his record in the Gold Cup would make me wary of his judgement to be honest.
Very Wood may well run in the 4 miler but he would not have the chance of winning that DP would have. Tullow Tank aint very good.....is he?? |
By:
im sad about tullow lost his way

Any idea if Menorah would run in a gold cup?
Jumped awful for O'brien the other day but prior to that he has looked a revelation this season. 40/1 at the moment |
