Sinfonian yer a mug as is Graeme 83.Sintonian trying to work out why I've not went in without nrnb...why would I??you've steamed in on a horse that's got a 10% of turnin up with the jock pleading it runs in Ryanair.once declared you can be the big man that says "I've had a go"...so ****???

Bally, you wouldn't last 5 minutes. At every opportunity you've had you have mentioned NRNB. You far to preoccupied with losing the money than actually winning it. This in itself tells me you're a loser.

You could have had plenty on at 14/1 + on here, that's why. No need to get your gran to place bets for you with her VC account then is there?

that is a good point Judo. FL is odd-on to get beaten in whichever race he runs in. Both me and Ballydoyle could end up losing our money.

Then again, if Champion Court were to win this .. he who laughs last etc ExcitedWink

i've topped up on Champion Court again at 10/1. His run in defeat to Williams Wishes when conceding 20lb over an inadequate trip is massive. Absolutley massive.

I will take topweight carrying performances in handicap performances over group form any day. Look what ROR did to Raya Star at newbury last year. Tidal Bay topweight in the Hennessy wins the Lexus next time out. 10/1 cracking price given this horse will be running at his ideal distance. That might not be the case with the likes of CC & FL. CC would in the Champion Chase if it were not for Sacre and FL has been trained like a stayer.

A decent bet sint, I think his run in KG was excellent as well.

The problem is with his subsequent effort did Kempton leave its mark?

Hard to know really Roo. Lots of horses who ran on the King George card have came out and won/imprvoed their ratings but then lots have also disappointed. His last run was a prep afterall so we should probably give him the benefit of the doubt at 10/1. Alasi is not a bad horse either. She ran in a G2 novice chase last season at Kempton and was a 4/1 chance vs Menorah, but fell early. She is no world beater like but she's alright.

Sint, I thought that run by CC against WW was an excellent effort also. It strengthened my belief in SDC's chances in the big one.

Huge effort John. Williams Wishes is rated 153 now and was put up as an outsider for the QMCC!!

My only doubt is his running style. Around Cheltenham it is very difficult to front run/be prominent and win in Championship races. Has to be eachway imo.

Yeah, Champion Court could set a good pace only to set it up for a stayer IMO.

Graeme weather forecasts all over the place - don't forget no extra rain has actually fallen yet

I know Roob, but Claisse said three quarter inch of rain is expected which will fire us off on soft. My opinion on FL has been based around decent running ground. I don't agree with J Tucker, i don't think that it was always the plan, as any plan is ground dependant. I wouldn't be suprised if Oscar Whisky goes for the 2 miler and ditto the New One for the Supreme. It's all up in the air.

It is indeed,a lot could change re plans over the next few days.

I also said it's why the Hurricane Fly camp have been so confident. They know the ground could be soft, and are all waiting to say 'we told you so'. They wouldn't be as confident if they thought it would be good ground.

Champion Court is a big price but did we ever find a reason for his poor run last time?
By:

When: 04 Mar 13 15:40
Don't think champion court is classy enough, type of horse that will punch above his weight against better types but won't be quite able to get the job done in a race where he is entitled to have every chance.

Going back on topic; has there been much mention of FL at the Irish preview nights? If the expected rain comes next week then surely any lingering chance of him running in the Gold Cup will disappear

Been posted on a couple of threads the chat from one where Segal was along with jimmy Nesbitt and Davy was there, amongst others.  Seems clear that Davy wants him in Ryanair but genuinely no decision has been finalised.

Unclear as to whether they are still undecided or whether they know and choosing not to say anything.

pretty sure Davy Russel doesn't want to face FL in the GC as he has beaten SDC already this year, convincingly. Would be quite a coup if he went on to ride FL in the gold cup though!!! Laugh

all that Lexus form is suspect anyways with SDC and Flemenstar only stamping its ordinaryness. (ordinaryness....is that even a word, lol)
