Still haven't given up the hope on Dylan Ross. Anyone know if this is still the plan for him?

well then what effect will the Deloitte have on the market?

Slabster

the last comments I read from Meade indicates he still rates the horse. As DR only has the single entry at the Festival and skips the Deloitte I get the feeling Meade is now holding out for good ground.

Lets see how the Deliotte pans out, and we may get a feel for the strength of races in the Irish Novice scene.

I wouldn't be giving up on the horse yet.

Montbazon entered at Newbury on Friday and also has an entry on Saturday.

Sous les Cieux's got to go for the Neptune (if anything) after that, surely?
By:

When: 12 Feb 12 14:21
well he aint a supreme horse, not sure he will come over to be honest.

Captain conan not exactly boosting Colour Squadron's form either.

Galileo's choice maybe the only ones form that recieves any sort of boost after that?
By:

When: 12 Feb 12 14:29
Well that's one of Hendersons we don't have to worry about for Chelt!
By:

When: 12 Feb 12 14:31
so how much are we taking from that race??
Captain Conan surely never ran his race, but if he did,
Where does that leave Colour Squadron,Montbazon and Steps to Freedom?? all are tied in.
By:

When: 12 Feb 12 14:31
as a lot of people said in the deloitte thread it was a surprise captain conan was fav and no surprise he got stuffed
By:

When: 12 Feb 12 14:33
agree, but he was beaten a bl00dy long way.
By:

When: 12 Feb 12 14:35
Hopefully that means he didn't give his running Budd. He looked a right monkey at Sandown, so who knows? Will be interesting to see what Geraghty and Henderson have to say.

I think what people are forgetting is that Captain Conan was a very fortunate winner of the Tolworth.

As a Montbazon backer, it was bl00dy annoying Exeter was cancelled today. I'd not be interested in any of the horses who ran in the Deloitte now and wasn;t really beforehand. Midnight Game is the WPM horse.
By:
buddeliea
When: 12 Feb 12 15:21
yes he was fortunate to win that race, but even if CS had run straight their would not have been much between them.
Strictly on formlines anyone that has backed a horse that ties in with Captain Conan, has to hope that was not his true running.
Ive got Montbazon as well Sint,so im one thats hoping that.
By:

When: 12 Feb 12 15:26
It's not always wise to take form lines that tie in with other horses via other horses though Budde. Otherwise where do you stop ? Technically speaking, Montbazon has no form with Captain Conan.

Anyway, I have just had a saver on Midnight Game at 14/1 before the price goes. He is definitley WPM's No.1 contender for the race and may get price wized this week.

When: 12 Feb 12 15:31
Take yer point re formlines Sint, but all the same i would not mind if BG said he was unhappy with the horse and he werent right or something.

ive gone in again on Tetlami, hes impressed me.
Think his price is still pretty good to be honest.

I think LI is very likley to run and to be Gigginstown's #1. I can't understand why FL is so close to him in the betting on all known chase form.

Does Sous Les Cieux go for this race? I can't understand why he's 25/1, when Galileo's Choice and Midnight Game are half the price. SLC beat both of them easily enough in the Royal Bond especially MG. Obviously SLC proved his running at Xmas was all wrong today(he probably should have won today). I assume he's not coming over.

This is probably the worst Supreme I've ever seen.
By:

When: 12 Feb 12 19:15
I'd imagine that SLC will go for the Neptune now. He was doing all his best work at the end of the race today, and so I reckon he'll probably go for the Neptune, with Boston Bob maybe heading for the AB, and Midnight Game for the Supreme.
By:
stevo1
When: 12 Feb 12 20:16
Mullins may run 2 in Supreme Sous Les Cieux, who will be more suited by end to end gallop not a crawl.and Midnight Game, think Boston Bob will go Neptune.

When: 12 Feb 12 23:03
Whatever the future for Captain Conan, I would be certain he did not run anywhere near Sandown today. I think Colour Squadron has very strong win / place claims and the run of CC puts me off not a jot.

When: 12 Feb 12 23:24
the supreme novice puzzle is a little clearer with Captain Conan and Cash and Go proving they are not up to the task. Tetlami won well on the A/W on saturday and he looks to have everything in his favour ahead of the big one.  It was an impressive performance/ prep run from Tetlami, and I now hope that he'll keep ticking over on the gallops ahead of the big day.

He is a fantastic each way bet in this open renewal

http://onetojump.blogspot.com/2012/02/festival-ante-post-selection.html  This was my piece for him that I put up last week when he was 20/1. I'd advise taking the top price of 16/1 as I have a sneaky feeling Pricewise will put him up in Tuesday's RP eliminating his great value which is available now!

Dylan Ross

Classy sort and battle hardened, will improve for good ground - cracking value at 44 on here.

Colour Squadron, a 14-1 chance for the William Hill Supreme Novices' Hurdle, will head to Newbury on Friday in an attempt to get back to winning ways having gone down by a short head in the Tolworth Hurdle last time.

Hobbs told At The Races: "The plan is to run at Newbury on Friday as a little more experiencewould not do him any harm. He is not a great big strong horse but he is a horse with plenty of ability."
