no ben but i really fancy 2 today .
alanbrooke in the 5.05 at sandown.and charminamix in the 8.50 at bellewstown. |
By:
Yeah I though Alanbrooke could go well, along with the Johnston thing in the previous race, Alpen Glen. Don't fancy his in the maiden, that race looks priced up about right to me so no value what so ever. Wouldn't be doing the placepot today at Sandown, don't think it'll pay well.

Morning gents - the race that has caught my eye today is the 6.30 Salis
I am not a lover of the form shown by those that have run so I have taken a look at the newcomers: No.1: ? ? No.3: +1 0 No.4: 0 0 No.5: -1 +1 No 7: 0 +1 No.9: 0 -1 No.14: 0 0 No.3 and No.7 appeal a bit for small stakes. No.7's stable had a newcomer win on thsi course recently and is bred to appreciate 7f+. |

quite like 7 brad not sure 3 will like the fast ground having deploy as a damsire.

Think they'll both be long term prospects but in a poor maiden could have good chances. Thought Elizabelle was interesting being Orizaba's sister but Westerner looks a negative influence to me and perhaps his progeny are best watched this year to get a handle on them. In a poor maiden Go Forth North would probably be the one who holds most appeal, better for the run and the second has won and Toga Tiger goes at Warwick today. Looks to be priced up right to me although I could make a case for GFN being a 6/4 shot in a race of this standard. Think people perhaps pay too much attention to the class of maiden and I don't think this is a step in class for GFN. Good luck with your two.

going out shortly lads.
for me today it is rosika 2.20 hay. moggy 4.45 leic. and block party 5.45 hay. ca |
By:
also think triple aspect only has to have a clear run to win.
By:
Nothing appeals to me at all today
By:
had a crap day only ended up having 2 bets rosika and triple aspect.
thought the jock panicked on triple aspect . i really like rosika may have lost her confidence halfway throug race when she took a bump will defo give her another chance. |
By:
Triple Aspect doesn't have the early pace to go with a quality sprint field early on so gets in a bad position. I think he wants 6 really and wider tracks without dodgy draw bias's will help.
By:
agree he wants another furlong ben but i still think he was the best
horse on the day . thought the jock should have stayed on the rail or close to it and took his chances just like the winner did. but i suppose it was a tough call for him but you cant afford to give the ground he gave away in a sprint. |
By:
Nothing again today
By:
if i have a bet today it will be loch linhe at n/ket
By:
I am on Many a Slip in the first at Warwick. Strong bet for me can't understand why it is trading at 11-4 when 7-4 on my tissue.
By:
good luck brad . quite an open race i think where all the principals should handle the fast gpound.
By:
ground.
By:
I think at Warwick you need to be nearest to the stands side in the last furlong. Knew that beforehand but Jamie took two races to work it out. I have never criticised him before but his rides in the first two races were braindead
By:
anything today lads.

Interesting 2-y-o races today but not a great betting day.
2.00 Newm Can't see why Emperor Claudius is so short. The opposition is strong from races that are wokring out well and he still has to beat Big Audio. Chesham not norammly a great race but I do think it was better than average this year so just a small lay. |
By:
i like the 2yo at chester mdawee and i cant see past alanbrooke at ascot. i also fancy jj the jet plane and i have been told to have a couple of quid on mister hardy in the bunbury cup.

hi lads i like the godophin tyo chaperno in the 4.20 at york it would
have hated that rain softened ground last time but still ran a blinder. i think the winner of that race is a really nice sort. i also fancy warringah in the 3.45 at york who will love the ground and is screaming out fot this trip. and at hamilton tonight i think dickie le davoir can win the 7.55 as long as it doesnt get too far behind early he is in blinding form just now. |
By:
p.s. lay of the day cesare.
By:
nap of the day walk on bye 3.05 the curragh loved the way this won
firsttime out obriens horses will make the market for it. lay of the day midday no chance of handling the ground. |

7.00 wind v.confusing to me
8.00 Wind - Buzzword ran well first time out and I expect him to take all the beating tonight |
By:
been out all day seen buzzword won easy.

6.20 Yarmouth
Most interesting race of the day. Kavak and Nideeb have both shown enough to win this type of race. Lowdown will do better today on this faster surface. Seamster has no chance and if it wasn't for being a goldophin horse it would be 20-1+. Of the newcomers the ratings are: No1. 0 0 No2. 0 0 No7. +1+1 No8. +1 +1 Conclusion: a strong race which will prove profitable to follow. My bet will be at the prices No.8 Pounced who is related to a number of decent horses. |

Just heard it is soft going so bin all my comments. I live in North Essex and we have had no rain

By:
ew double for me today .
bow to no one 5.00 leicester. al qeddaf 7.45 epsom . |
By:
I quite fancied the Godolphin second string in the next at Leicester. Would've prefered their other one to stay in the race though.

Evening guys, anyway thoughts on the 6:10 Newmarket, lots of firm ground pedigrees racing on soft ground, could get a bit messy. Quite a few pedigrees that look to prefer better ground. One that caught the eye was Puteri. One Cool Cats seems to be OK this sort of ground and are usually ready for their debut more than others. Jarvis gets first time out winners I think and the dam's family seem best with cut. Could be an informative maiden anyway.
By:
Sorry Ben had problems with thunderstorms so couuldn't get back to you. As a general rule avoid One Cool Cat horses like the plague. If u have a question or info u or lay preacher can e-mail me if u want. abradburystar@aol.com
By:
Yeah, was quite annoyed with myself because the Barry Hill's Montjeu also appealed but I convinced myself to go for Puteri. Thought Puteri had more speed but should've known Barry Hills better than that :)

agree about one cool cats very tricky customers.

2.00 Newm
V.interesting race. At the moment only 2 non-runners but there are lots of fast ground and dirt pedigrees so could be plenty more. Those that have run No1 and No 2 not good enough No.5 - type to keep an eye out for but prefer his sire on good or faster No.6 - v.similar comments to No.5 No.9 Has the form to win this type of maiden and has a German background. His sire loved soft going. No.10 Didn't fancy it first time out when backing winner and don't like it on this going. No.14 Not good enough Newcomers No.4,7and 13 either have dirt pedigrees or fast ground ones. Leaves No.3 who I rate +1 0 might want time but could be a good outsider today. So in conclusion Marine Spirit for me with a bit on Centrigrade as well. |
