You would think with the wall to wall racing now they would want four heats.  One round can be on Sky 2 for those rich people who pay the $5 a month.  I don't think I have ever bagged the sport on a forum but like many before me I have to say it is in reverse.  The disgusting drivers, the team tactics which to me seem worse than ever.  And that filthy Menangle track.

Which Restrepo turns up in the Melton heat, the Ballarat Cup winner or the one that has been chasing home the place getters?
By:

When: 10 Feb 14 06:36
Impossible to get a proper lead on Retrepo at the moment. Looked clearly below the best in Miracle Mile and Hunter Cup, but at Ballarat looked right up with the best.

The big question is does he hand up to either Bitobliss or Im Corzin Terror?

Aussie,
Lookd at Noms and Bitorbliss will be Emergency with horses like
Savesometimetodream, Alchemy, Wartime Sweetheart, Hugo Play and a Claimer Smudge Bromac in front of him.
Looks easy for Caribbean Blaster, Restrepo with Im Corzin Terrom and Keyang Cullen to fight out 3rd.

Just found Odds but no fields.
Destroyed Inter.
Please go back to Old Format and share it around
Melb, Syd, QLD, WA, NZ and yes Adelaide (always put on a good sow and Big Crowds and GD and track is much better now.
Now no one goes

Heat racing needs to go, think about it - they either split them on rankings or by trainer or whatever separates the top seed from second seed - make them race each other in lead ups against the top horses and we get twice as much top level racing

Intercom can't go back to rotation lloydy, outside of Sydney and Perth everyone else is too broke to run it

I'm excited about the retention barn, should stir up from some bi!ching from a few stables
By:
Chariots

Exactly Unclee not that simple to go back to the rotation as only one club in NZ interested and at the most three in Australia and they couldn't afford to run it every three years.

Hi Aussie,
I was trying to find the fields on hrv site but couldnt
i looked at noms and seen Bitorbliss had the least points
i then found the fields

At Menangle it should be,
Beautide
For a Reason
Gold Ace
Franco Nelson
Mach Beauty
+ next 3 best to make a the field to 8. Cut the other heat and use its prizemoney to make the race worth 100k.

Drop the 12 horses that shouldn't be in an interdom down to FFA grade and we've got ourselves a race worthy of the interdominion name.

those up on the Kiwi form can you give me an idea of what type of horse Franco Nelson is?  No real breeze horse in his heat.  Will he work forward?

thanks for the news flash Lets Elope.  Have done so but would of liked an opinion of someone who has a well rounded view of the form there.  looks a good chance on Saturday from what I have seen in those videos

so he'd rather run against smolda?? maybe the Dunn's need to go back and watch their last race....

surely he runs in the chariots, couldn't run top 5 in the hunter and you have to add TTL, Smolda, FAR, Im Victorious.. oh and Beautdide
By:

When: 13 Feb 14 11:12
That was a joke but whatever

Franco Nelson, border control, saveapatrol form is outstanding, already proven they are up to TTL, McCarthy and his mate need to go into retention and I don't think IV will win his WA heat

Only possible danger to I'm victorious in his heat is if David hercules can somehow get off the fence early, if I'm Victorious is right it goes past livingontheinterest like it's tied to the fence as that hall horse is going like a busted you know what. Victorious dragged a flat tyre for 2700m of the Pacing Cup so that run can be easily forgiven however it still has something to prove for mine at the very top level although I have no doubt it has the raw ability to do so but it shouldn't have any trouble against these.
Who leads in everyone's opinion in the NZ heat Terror or Smolda, don't think it matters either way if smolda reproduces what he did first up think he'll make mincemeat of Terror as thought it was disappointing last start. I've never been a huge Smolda fan but it may have come back a different horse this time around judging by its first up win which was super impressive.

People are getting a bit carried away with one nice sprint from Smolda. In the final he'll be third up and over 3000 metres which seems remarkably difficult to me.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2R74D-0zwSs#t=11

Above is called 'the greatest race you will ever see' but tonight he's going to start near evens from barrier one at his home track?!?!?  All cause he got beat last start and Smolda didn't.  Punters seem to have short memories.  I like Smolda too but he surely still has a bit to prove.

Smolda is a bit freakish Khan, always has been. His first up win was crazy good to my eye.

Not sure if he will beat TTL tonight or not, it will be leader behind leader either way and they will probably dawdle, Not sure the result will be a true depiction and yes we forget how good TTL is. A lot in this country don't realise what he has achieved.

But I make Smolda around equal fav for the final right now in the absence of Christen Me, who would have certainly been the horse to beat had they gone there.
By:

When: 15 Feb 14 00:54
Forget his 1st up run, he has the chariots formline

Do you think he's vulnerable to second up syndrome khan? 1.57 over 2600m first up after 1 ord trial and 1 exceptional trial

2 trials, 1st easily beaten by TTL, 2nd beat Venus Serena who's low flying and 1.57 over 2600m - purdons were very keen on BC in the race smolda won, so was he flattered (jivin Cullen did go with him) or is he just a freak

Terror to Love 1.60
QLD Leave alone None should be able to make final all will be taking a spot of a Vic who will be unlucky.

Let's, Don't disagree that I'm victorious and David Hercules have a class edge on Livingontheinterest but to say it is going like a busted after a solid run in Pacing Cup, breezing outside MMM over 2536m beaten 1.1m in a 27.7 last 400m, leading throughout to win narrowly over 2536m in 1:56.6 and winning a Byford trial in 1:57.5 defies logic.

Beat the Pacing Cup winner in that last win as well Chariots. Head in hands man required here

Why do you think the owner immediately moved hokinui ben??? Livingontheinterest's run in the Pacing Cup has been massively overrated I've watched that replays a zillion times, it's going terrible, and has been virtually all prep, if it somehow staggers over the line tonight it's an indictment on the system. Absolutely impossible for mine, livingontheinterest. If I was a layer I would be laying it with a trowel at those odds but I'm not a layer by nature and would rather work around it.
I thought livingontheinterest even as bad as it is going was a good thing in that race last start and sportingbet bet 1.90 about it earlier in the week from the pole and I refused to take it because it's against my religion to back a horse at those odds going as bad it is  and it won by an eyelash after lets just say some interesting driving and and 61.7 first half and I am still glad I didn't back it, I don't need to go through that sort of pain to collect.
You're all welcome to back it if you want, personally if you want to dispose of your money that badly I would suggest setting it on fire is a far more efficient method.
By:

When: 15 Feb 14 03:04
We'll see AD the horse is going terrible, every body knows what's going on and and has been going on with hall's horses for years with multiple runners and I'll leave it at that. You what what's going to happen in those instance and you just factor that in and work around it or you don't bet in a particular race it's as simple as that.
By:
Chariots
When: 15 Feb 14 03:10
Let's you obviously have not understood my post, I have no intention of backing Livingontheinterest at the odds currently on offer but I am not prepared to say it can't win.

As always you are entitled to your opinion but on many occasions you have slathered journalists for not doing their research and writing stories not based on fact.  On this occasion you have made a statement that is not supported by facts.

Horses going like a busted do not have that type of form line.

Personally I think you are desperate for a bet if you are betting in that WA heat tonight. I believe Im Victorious has become seriously overrated, whilst he may still be the best horse there and quite possibly wins tonight, he is not a true top level horse for mine. It would seem from afar that David Hercules is the best horse in WA at the minute but can he qualify from that draw?

Chariots is correct, whether it is going as well as the other top guns over there or not, to say it is going like a busted with that form line is utterly ridiculous. And to say "it is going terrible", but "was a good thing" in that race against a last start Pacing Cup winner, well there is simply no point saying something so silly after the race

Compared to last season when it led and beat quinnie (seems a long time ago now could even have been the previous one, can't be bothered checking) yes it's going like a busted arrse in my opinion and I have made plenty betting around it all prep as its form is terrible. Apart from David Hercules,  Victorious Hokinui Ben who I like  as a horse and has been good to me, there's not much depth in our fast class currently, bettors fire is a  nice horse  but has to race forward and either lead or breeze to be at its most effective, the rest you can raffle.

AD on paper it was  a good thing in that race because it grows a leg normally in front but its not even doing that this prep and it had every mortal last start and staggered over the line and the owner of the second horse immediately moved it, you work it for yourself what happened. The horse is going terrible, it has never been one of my horses and am more than happy to keep knocking it in its current form.
By:

Normally much more depth than what currently exists Uncle and by the way David Hercules would be fixing up most your so called FFA horses currently if it was racing over there at the moment, it has never raced better.

Don't know what happened to the rest of that, but not worth worrying about anyway when a gallops punter tries to assess harness horses (shakes head)
