Hope everything goes ok Dragon.
Sorry that your team line-up isn't totally clear. I'm just trying to give people every chance, so I've said MillRidgeTanic can have the last spot but I can't magic him up. chavman is standing by. Thai Basil is welcome to continue. It's up to you how long you wait, obviously by Saturday you need one of these or a wildcard. |

GL guys... My first arrow is today 14:02 Southwell Amelias Joy is currently 22/1 Horse definitely acts on tapeta 2 decent efforts for Brian Smart over 6f at Newcastle, has plenty of sire/dam/dams progeny evidence that as a 4yo a mile is very plausible and the Dec effort over 7f at newcastle also hints this trip may bee a plus now. last run at southwell on paper looks pretty poor but i find it interesting Herrington so far has not raced the horse prominently. Jason Hart who rode it for Smart twice is back on today and there is not a great deal of pace in the race. The overwhelming favourite to lead is dashing Donkey who after a 2 month break is probably gearing up for another turf campaign over straight mile races. dropping back another 2 to 3lb before then will be just the ticket so im not sure its at the track to do too mcuh today. But it should toe a hopefully stalking Amelias Joy into the race then we will see if she stays. I did win only because i think the value is a more on the win if she des buckle for the trip. Gl to the cleevehill mob cheers al the best nicky. |

Apologies to the team on not going the EW was backed from 22/1 into 11/1 in the lst 3 mins. Finished 2nd
Race went to plan The right horse led I will definitely be interested in Dashing Donkey on turf at some point straight mile with a bit of juice/small field not much pace opposition ideal geting well treated after that run. |

great effort makerme, very unlucky and a decent second. unlucky m8 on what was nearly a great shout, as you say ew wd have been a wonderful call--hey ho

Bad luck, so nearly a very good start. Each way good at 22/1, but not so good at 11/1. Good start with the write up as well, always good to see that. Hopefully, we have someone who knows their onions when it comes to low grade stuff. Always useful as there is so much of it.
Good luck for the rest of the week. |

Morning all,
I have selected ERIC CARMEN in the 15.00 Leicester. 7/2 looks a great price for a horse in great form winning 3 out of 4 of his last races. the odds on fav looks a danger given the ground but i think the selection has the wind in his sails gets on really well with the jockey and won his last chase race really well. heres hoping |

I've put your remaining place down as a wildcard for now, it's up to you if you just use it as that for Saturday and then chase down MillridgeTanic/chavman or just ask Thai Basil to carry on or whatever you think best.

They should have called that the rogues gallery handicap today - 5 runners - 3 tongue ties, 3 cheek pieces, and 2 blinkers. Eric Carmen looked all over the winner until the actual winner consented to go by. So that's three crossbars out of three.
1.50 Sandown - Kaka's Cousin EW I wish I had got on earlier in the week. This is a promising horse who I think they have been deliberately running over the wrong trip. You can probably guess which of his three runs I backed him on, but hoping for better luck tomorrow. Might have gone win, but in view of the previous just trying to get something on the board, and it is a competitive race. Good luck |

morning all,
sorry i didnt post yesterday pm as i was out at my cousins 80 th birthday celebrations. A very decent start made well done to all point scorers and we are in second place. We were also unlucky with quite a few close calls. Bring on Cheltenham and lets hope we can eat into the shrewdies lead. Enjoy the rest of your weekend -im cooking a sunday roast with a nice Italian red and watching the T 20 final ![]() |

Sounds good.
I probably won't do anything before Friday, but I think we need to be realistic. It's very close in behind, and only the first two weeks. If we end up second, it wouldn't be a bad result. |

The obvious short one is Panic Attack, but I will stick with what I was going for at the start of the week.
3.20 Cheltenham Kings Bucks EW He hasn't won a race, but has been targeted at this race since he chased home No Drama This End. He stayed on very strongly that day, and this extra stamina test should be a plus, hopefully a big one. That's the key to him doing well. Just puzzled that having been nibbled down from 66/1 he has been relatively weak over the last few hours. Fingers crossed he can step up. |

I've been very busy so apologies for not checking in since last selection, well done to the team for putting some points on the board. I've not had too much to go on this week I was standing by for a selection yesterday but after the first one halved in odds I'm leaving it later now and concert boy 17/2 into 4/1 last night I was happy to leave and thankfully it got chinned right on the line at Newcastle.
I have one today, whether it's quite ready I'm not sure but I do think it can win this race IF it's ready to roll and this is the quickest track return its had since winning at Donny off 56 in a 0-75 back in May. For some reason it's ran a pair of stinkers at Haydock I'm not sure why the track would be an issue or whether it's just a case of a horse that isn't interested if it starts on the back foot in races as both runs there were a slow start and a held up effort, the first flop there was quite sweaty but it was a warm day. Anyway He has won a very poor race at Wolves, followed up at Donny as said in a better race and after the first Haydock flop ran a belter at Chester which despite 4th is arguably its best form to date and certainly for me good enough to win a race like this on the AW. The second flop at Haydock then followed and then long gaps between the last 2 runs. The wolves lto run was a bit keen and prominent off a pace that collapsed but It's reasonable to suggest he will strip fitter today after 18 days. Sean D Bowen has been aboard for the 2 wins so this may be seen as a negative with a Toomey horse being partnered by him in todays event and johnny Pete in the saddle. But all this said at this level down to a mark of 55 I think 22/1 EW is worthy of a play, I just hope that he can remain interested and stay close enough early doors (you can rip up the ticket with any sort of poor start) probably behind the speed bunny beauzon and a couple of others.I'm hoping a likely decent pace allows this fitter horse to settle and finish off the race today to get in the frame. |

The dreaded challenge up the far rails run for 4th this horse will definitely win a race or 2 this season.

Didn't really want to pick one today, gone for 3 in the Midlands national now, hope this one doesn't shorten in price anymore.Had a crap Cheltenham so glad I didn't put one up from there,
My horse in the naps league will be too short for us as we badly need points now, let's hope this one can score for us. Grand Master 3.00 Uttoxeter 5pts ew |
