Great pick 7.

Unlucky Chewy, thanks lads, just goes to show even a stopped clock is right twice a day, good luck with the remaining selections.

What time does the Wildcard need to be in Whippin?
By:
Has FatPunt put up anything,Oh Weat Virginia 5.25 Leister if looking for something
By:
Damn that was close to the wire there lads! Thanks for that one Tangle because I wouldn't have had time to find something else
By:
I've gone for Dark Tornado at Leicester this evening for the Wildcard. He won't find a better chance to win a race than this one
By:
Wd Whipping, horse won nicely, only negative of two selections by me couldn’t boost our total.

Cheers Tangle. I managed to get on at about a point better than sp on here
So a profitable day in the end and I got back the Houstonn loses. That one travelled into it nicely, went short IR but didn't really pick up. A slight drop in trip could be the way forward for him. Don't worry about not putting any points on the board this week, you've put points on it when the rest of us haven't and it's all part and parcel of such a comp...we win and lose as a team. GL next week guys, let's bring the win home! ![]() |
By:
Seeing as you've already you put a very nice winner on the board for us this round, I'd like you to use the Wildcard this week No 7. Good luck with all your bets at Yok this week lads

Going for Gulya @ York (Win).
Was 2ND on her debut last year when going off the joint fav with Whirl (Won the Musidora here) & was 2ND again on her seasonal bow @ Ascot just over a fortnight ago (6/4 Fav),quite well backed. She was very unlucky only done a S/H when not getting a run untill it was too late.Nice long straight here for De Sousa to get her better positioned & hopefully a clear run this time.Looked a good filly in the making LTO,she should really have a (1) by her name already. GL fellas |
By:
Thanks Whipping, I’m going for Sweet William in the 3.45 York. Proven stamina, first time cheek pieces and will love the ground. 10pt win at 4-1. GL today.
By:
Ides Of March – 1:25 Newbury
Led all the way LTO and collared on the line by his stable mate. With Moore riding this time it should hang on. Winners celebrate – losers make their own arrangements. ![]() |
By:
For the wildcard selection I’m going for completely random in 3.45 NM. Up six pounds for last win, but looks an improver. 9-2, 10pms win. Good luck with your bets today.
By:
1.25 Neweb Hold a Dream 5pts ew 6f GF should be perfect. Just got collared LTO off a break. Hopefully be a bit fitter today. GL with you selections today lads.

Looks very strong that one Happy. Tried to find something to beat it and the only one at a price in the same race I like is Chewy's selection...forecast would be nice!

Good luck with your selections and bets today lads. I'm a Dancing Gemini believer in the big one. He 's looked the real deal in his 2 races this season and it now looks as if he's the horse the trainer always believed he would be. I'm on at 4s but he might be a touch too short for the comp and I have one on the card at a double figure price that I may go with instead.
By:
Afternoon Whippin, not sure FatPunt is around so keep an eye out for his selection
Like Happy’s selection,a few at Newbury I fancy Notable Speech, Wonder Star has been backed and Elmonjed. My selection is Capital Guarantee 5.05 Thirsk,Tudhope rides and he needs a win or two Gl all. |
By:
We might need something at a bigger price but I'll consider those Tangle
By:
I do like Cover Up at a double figure price. This horse needs a decent pace, a flat track and a fast going to show his best.....he got none of them last time out at Musselburgh!
By:
Also he takes a bit of knowing and Buick back on board is a huge plus
By:
Seeing as No.7 has put one up that race I'll pick something else.
By:
Gone for Wonder Star from your list. He was very well backed LTO and won with plenty in hand. I don't think he beat much that day but you'd be hopeful there's more to come
By:
Nice winner Tangle, won as it liked. Shame my bet of the day couldn't get the job done, hit 1.07 in running! Would have given us 2nd place this round
By:
Sorry about my absence, boys, but I've had another spell in hospital. Hopefully normal service will resume this week if you'll still have me.
By:
No worries Fatpunt. I hope you're on the mend now. You can redeem yourself by putting a nice winner on the board for the team.

Beset – 3:15 Goodwood
10 points Win Joseph O’Brien has sent only one runner over from Ireland and got our top jockey William Buick to ride it. But what do I know? ![]() |
By:
Great pick! Happysandwich ran a blinder and was just a touch unlucky. May I apologise for my absence once again. I really fancy Cosmic Year in the Irish 2000 Guineas, but I just feel the value has disappeared now, so I'm putting up City Of God in the Silver Bowl instead. He has some decent pieces of form in the book. I think this will be run at breakneck speed, and he will be right up with the van, hopefully holding on for a place late on. I'm not thrilled about the jockey booking, but more than prepared to take a chance at the prices. Fingers crossed.

3.30 Hay American Affair Won well at York last week. looks like a horse going places to me. 10pts win.
By:
As usual with so many meetings it comes down to choices,
Haydock 1.15 Dashing Darcy, heavily backed,SDS riding 1.50 Teroomm, first time handicap for a good stable, another for SDS Curragh 3.05 Storm Boy,Australian sprinter usually miles ahead of the uk sprinters 3.40 Field Of Gold, unlucky in 2000 Guineas 4.15 Skukuza,Ryan takes ride for Dunlop Leaning towards Field Of Gold, negative is the price, but should go close. Gl team |
By:
Yeah plenty of racing to get stuck into today. I do like the Haggas Horse on the opener at Goodwood, I'm on at 5s but the price has come in a bit. Rumstar can go well today now there's been some rain at Haydock
By:
Whippin I had a friend that named his car the Sliver Ghost, twice it’s won at long prices, only noticed it was running when they were down at the stalls,I backed the fav to run in the first four,so it goes
![]() |
By:
I was just looking at the race again that he won at Newmarket....it now makes sense why he ran so well again today. And if I knew your friend named his car that I would have definitely stepped in.
I think the fav dead heated for 4th Did you notice that Dark Tornado went in again last Saturday as a decent price? |
By:
GL with all your bets and comp picks today guys.
By:
Thx for the update on Power Fizz,I thought I had a losing bet,I see I made 10 p in the pound
![]() I did notice Dark Tornado won again, not sure why it was playing in my mind. The Silver Ghost would have just been a nostalgia bet if I had backed it in either his last two runs |
