2.20 Aintree Be Aware. Skeletons have a fine record in this race and the horse was fav for the Coral Cup but ran moderately, chance to bounce back on good ground before it goes chasing next year. Backing it each way at around 8~1.

I like Minella Cocooner. This race has been the plan all season and Willie will have this guy cherry ripe for it. And if Sam can get Beauport into a lead and a good rhythm early doors, I can see him hanging around to be involved in the finish

I've chosen Senior Chief (5pts. EW) in the national for my wildcard selection. A good winner at Cheltenham earlier in the season and a decent outing in the Hennessey finishing 6th. Had a prep race in a Pertemp qualifier. He throws in an occasional sketchy jump, but these national fences shouldn't be a problem. Fingers crossed.

A few I like today with a couple in the same races. I think Gwennie May Boy might be able to make the step up in class in the Liverpool hurdle but Home by the Lee has been in the form of his life this season and was most unfortunate at Chelters. I like West Acre and Regional in the sprint over in Meydan. But I might have to go for one at a huge price if we are to win this round. I'm considering putting up Beauport in the National. Good luck FP with your selection and with all your bets in the GN today lads.

I’ve got nothing on my feet yet and I drive a Greycar. Just had a smoke signal from Geronimo for it. ![]() |

Moon Over Miami, will be putting this up today (Win).
Went off fav LTO for a similar prize @ Lingfield over this trip, was disappointing never really in it tbf, Wnr did hack up by 5Ls though.Did run a good race the time before @ Kempton (91) when rnr up,btn just under 2Ls.Very lightly raced & connections staying with the 2M trip in this. Those 2 runs were both in Feb so fitness shouldn't bean excuse. GL fellas. |
By:
tanglefoot,1/2 a Wnr!
wd GL |
By:
Well done tangle and Penzance
It looks like Moon over Miami can only show his very best form on Turf. I'd like to offer you the Wildcard this week Penzance GL with it and to the rest of the lads who haven't put one up yet. |

I've gone for Bright Times Ahead in the Fred Darling at Newbury. She caught the eye on debut, and I think she will improve as a 3-year-old. I've been looking through the cards every day, but I haven't really fancied anything. Maybe the Craven meeting next week will provide a midweek selection. Fingers crossed.

2.15 Ayr Ethical Diamond. On my way there. Mullins for Mullins. Hopefully put some points on the board & pay for my Chinese tonight.

Blenheim Star (Win) for the wild card.Goes well around here 2/3.Last win was
as the odds on fav which he won easily enough (62 Cls 6).Cls 5 here & off 65. With that last winning performance here, think he'll go close in this. GL fellas. |

Some good reasoning there lads.GL I backed Al Qudra this morning and there's been plenty of money around for him now. He's match fit from his races in Meydan against a few in here who could be a little rusty. This 7F trip is spot on for him and the track and going will suit too. There's a couple of others I've backed at bigger prices so I might go for one of them if Al Qudra gets any shorter in price?

's' he'll

Going for Famous Bridge ew in the 3.35 at Ayr, ran a cracker at Cheltenham and looks like it will stay.
By:
Going for Metal Merchant in the 3.12 instead. He won this race in good style last season and posted some great efforts in defeat afterwards. This course really brings out the best in him and I get a feeling this is his main target of the season so he'll be spot on for this. He runs well fresh anyway so it probably doesn't take much to get him fit.

Wd to Penzance for yesterday’s winner
Good luck today for the selections ![]() |

By:
Nightwalker (E/W).
1ST run for the stable today & hopefully he's fairly straight.Don't know how long they've had him but they know how to win this,3 Wnrs last 10 Runnings. Was 3RD on his last run for Stoute, behind Delacroix, btn around 4Ls.Might not have been a bad performance tbf,Wnr was only done a Nse in the GP1 Futurity & he's quite high up the Derby betting (around the 10/1 mark with some books). Rain about but can see him going well with this step up in trip if he handles any change in the ground. GL fellas. |

I've looked through the midweek cards again and I'm finding it hard to fancy anything. I have a strong fancy for Saturday afternoon all being well, so it looks like I'm leaving it to the last day again. Good pick Penzance. Well done mate.

By:
I’m going for Westmorland in the 3.15 lingfield, put it up last time it won when it did it well and looked like an improver. About 7-1 10 pts win. Well done with the winners team.
By:
Great stuff No.7 it must have been your cash that hammered him into 9/2
![]() Nice place Penzance, he'll win even more races this season. |
By:
I don't think you've used a wildcard yet no.7? I'd like to offer you it this week. Good luck

By:
Cheers Whipping, got one at Haydock I fancy I will put it up tomorrow morning.
By:
Nice Wnr
wd GL |
By:
My strong fancy at Haydock wasn't declared, so I have had to scramble around for a selection. I've gone for Chillingham in the Queen's Cup at Musselburgh. He is slightly overpriced at 5/1, so I'm doing it EW. I fancy one in the Irish National on Monday if it's still on.
By:
I’m going for Bold Recruit in the 2.40 at Haydock, trainer in form and jockey changeable plus. 10pts win at 7-1. Good luck with your bets today.
By:
3.15 Hay Glynn will go on the ground, 10lb pull with the Jf for a 2 length beating last time they met. GL with your bets.

Nice one tangle. It bolted up!

Not many making much appeal today on the Flat. I do like the Crisford's horse in the 2nd race at Wolves but he's plenty short enough.
By:
Thx guys, not sure if chewy11 has put up his selection on comp thread.
By:
I'm not sure he's gone EW/Win? I'll post it EW for him
By:
Sorry guys. I didn't noticed that Happy didn't put one up this week.
I would have probably put something up EW in the 3.39 at Huntingdon as a replacement. On the positive side I did post Chewy selection as a EW one and he might have done it to win ![]() I've gone for Red Sand in the end in the same race as Jolly Roger at Wolves. I certainly respect that one but Red Sand left a nice impression when winning at Goodwood. He might have a had a small issue after that race and that's why he didn't race again last season? It could be he'll need this race to shake off the rust but the booking of Marquand (been riding really well this week and the 8/1 for the Jockeys Championship looks very fair indeed) suggests he should be fit enough to do himself justice this evening. |
By:
Sorry fellas, I forgot about putting it on the other thread. Good captaincy Whip, I wanted Win!! At least I've made a (small) contribution, at last.
By:
Great stuff Whipping, wasn’t sure from the wide draw, but held on.
By:
Cheers Tangle. Backed it to win on here and put in a RFC with the fav. Shame that one couldn't get 2nd place but mustn't grumble! With hindsight I should have posted it to win but it would have only moved us up one place to 2nd. Btw, I'd advise anyone with a bet365 account to have a few quid on Tom at 8s for the championship.
By:
I fancy a huge priced one at Bath tomorrow.... let's see if the price holds up overnight

By:
Golden Dove (Win),not a prolific Wnr by all means but off the same
mark here as LTO when 3RD btn under 1/2L @ Kempton just over a fortnight ago which was her 1ST run since Boxing Day & for her trainer,Horsford. Back against the girls in this & should give a good account if that Kempton run's brung her on.Hopefully she makes it 3/40. Done alright with only 7 selections last time. GL fellas. |

I've gone for Trilby in the 2:05 at Leicester. It looks like a trappy race but I've had him on my tracker for a while and he won nicely at Beverley last time. I think he could be better than his current mark of 86. The ground shouldn't be a concern and I like the jockey booking. Sorry about leaving it until Saturday again but I haven't fancied anything during the week. Fingers crossed.
