Well done skipper. So far another low scoring week with the other teams having a few more bullets to fire.
Midnight Gun was my idea of the Lincoln winner. Just a bit concerned that having looked like he might be favourite the money has dried up. Ground too soft? Ironic as Doncaster is supposed to deliver good ground, and I thought it had been a dry and sunny week. Fingers crossed we can get a few more points today. |

Horrible watch if you were on Midnight Gun. Never racing on an even keel, and all over the shop when asked to win the race. Doyle nowhere near strong enough to correct him. As a young horse for Walker I don't remember him racing anything like that erratically. |

Hi all,
Great weekend of racing coming up in what looks like fantastic weather. I have selected HOTT SHOTT 19.30 Chelmsford asmy pick currently 11/1 EW. Cracking condition race and HS is highly thought of by the Hughes training team and the jockey indicated earlier in the week that they thought they had something special. HS landed maiden/novice wins at 2 and improved again when 4 lengths second to a top prospect from the Charlie Appleby yard on his 1m Kempton reappearance. His stable won this race last year. 11/1 looks bigand im hoping it will win , but have covered the race by making it each way. lets hope it can gert us some points |

4.00 Aintree Intense Raffles EW
It's a difficult day, several races I haven't touched. I am puzzled as to why Intense Raffles has drifted so badly 7/1-16/1. He jumps, stays, and at 7, should still be on the improve. Ground is a relative unknown as he hasn't really tried it. Fingers crossed on that front. Last year's winner looks the most obvious danger. My other option was Only By Night (also weak in the market) who I expect to confirm Cheltenham form, but she would only give us around 35 points which likely wouldn't be enough if we are trying to win the week. Good luck. I see we are doing well in the Aintree competition so interest on two fronts. |
