Would have won his point, chased home Facile Vega, and then found a nice gear to win last time. Currently as big as 40/1 in a place. I think the Leopardstown form is the best on offer. Obviously, he has it to do to overturn Facile Vega, but I wouldn't be that concerned about the rest of them. Nolan horses ran well today. |

Flat racing not my bag, but looking at the table nothing short of a big priced winner will do, so it will probably be a choice between Ametist and Johan in the Lincoln. Not much point going each way.

As we need a big price ive gone for Kensington art a taround 10/1 ew in the 14.20 at Mussleburgh. Think it should handle the 5ilb rise and is in great nick

Ametist one of several chopped, so no alternative but to go with the other one, and hope the price holds. Hard to believe this was the only one De Sousa could have ridden, and it would be good to see Mick win a big one.

getting no luck here, horse going well fell and very sadley did not recover
teribly ad for all concerned - decent horse too thoughts to owners ans all associated. racing is a very cruel game at times  |

Thanks, 99 times out a 100 if you want a big winner it just doesn't happen. Thankfully, on this occasion I chose the right one as Ametist was backed from 16/1-6/1 and ran a shocker. Ryan is no Dettori. I am the ultimate pessimist, but watching the race I couldn't believe how well Johan was travelling. It is very hard to be disappointed with a 28/1 winner, but our return this week would have been a winning score more often than not, and more annoyingly had Johan not been cut late on from 33/1-28/1 we would have nicked it by 28p. Such is life. Tips Out are proving very tough to beat.
Fingers crossed we can give it a good crack again in the next round. Good luck all. |

Tips Out currently making a mockery of the game. There's almost a second competition for who can finish second. I was thinking that the second week would be the time to push the boat out, but they are already a 20/1+ winner ahead from 3 winning selections.
