Been at the cricket all day, missed the action. Well done again chaps.
Will be in Ireland Tuesday onwards for a few days so will probably put one up at Ludlow tomorrow, very likely HBB in the 2.00, but want to double check the card in the morning. |
By:
Henry Box Brown 2.00 Ludlow. 10 points win.
Won it's bumper leading most of the way around a tight track in Ireland. Not sighted out the back in qualifying runs for a mark. More like it in first handicap, again held up and running on when the race was won. Expecting a more prominent show at this track and a big run beckons. Hoping the 13/2 offered pays for the flights and hotel. ![]() Best of luck with the selections this week. |
By:
gl Barstool and enjoy your trip to Ireland
I see Foyleswar is going today as well in 2.20 with Showman ew so best of luck to him too lets hope for another good day ![]() gl chaps ![]() |
By:
Great start to the week fellas, wd again EEB, your on fire lately, more place points Scrabbler wd, gl with todays selections Barstool and Foyleswar, no idea what's happened to workrider hasn't posted for a while, hope he's ok.
By:
Thanks NeC will enjoy.
Selection drifted out to 12s just before the off. Well beaten 4th guess they want it dropping a few pounds. Put Group One Power (7.10 Windsor) in my note book after running well from a bad draw at Chester, worth a bet tonight. |
By:
yeh both selections drifted quite badly before the off tbh but that's the way it goes sometimes
we've still go a few goes this week and obviously next week is the business end of things ![]() |
By:
Yes well done guys....I would not be to worried about workrider he just drifts about in his own little bubble.

Have gone for Stinggrey EW 1st 2 in 7.35 Warwick.
Did mention this horse lto but thought the 3m trip was likely to be too far. I saw this horse run at Stratford 2 outings ago over tonights 2m4fs distance and it ran and jumped well from 9lbs out of h'cap, it's 1st real show of any form, jumped prominently and well lto till weakened before final turn here and return to this trip should suit, notice was backed at big prices last night and this race doesn't look as good as Stratford race, i've actually backed it EW 1st 3 earlier today at 12/1, but just 2 places in this comp. |
By:
Went out early last night didn't see race, just watched on Racing UK replays, very disappointing run, seemed to travel well and led for a long way before making a bad mistake and quickly dropping out, perhaps they'll have to drop in distance again as can't drop much more in ratings, very poor selection from me, sorry guys.
By:
No worries Stew - nobody looks like getting close to a 50/1 shot that you put up earlier.
Not sure about you or others but results recently seem difficult to fathom at times maybe Im guilty of overthinking but on a difficult run so have reigned it in a bit. |
By:
I think putting one horse up a week is a difficult decision whether you're in good form yourself or not as something more suitable could come out a day or two later, but it's just for fun anyway, but still don't like putting up a horse that doesn't run as i expect it too, personal pride thing as well as a financial loss.
Workrider has given me a horse to post for him tonight but have instructions to post as late as possible. |
By:
ok will have a look for that one, his info is usually v.good
that one at Chelts he put up a prime example can't see anything myself today so it's going to have to be a Saturday special by looks of things... |
By:
Workriders selection-Dun Na Sead-6.50 Fairyhouse, put it to win.
By:
Going 10pts win Dragon Symbol lads.....Good luck Today.
By:
Bad luck Acey, just the one to good, all down to NEC now!
By:
Gone Tomfre ew 3.45 Chester
hopeful of at least a place, ran well at York and this easier gl chaps ![]() |
By:
good luck Nec, could do with some points.
By:
5.25 Cartmel is down to 5 runners now.
This should allow TIMETOROE an easy time in front. Drop in trip will suit and first time hood should her allow her to settle kindly. 10 points to win. |
By:
Good luck Barstool, did commentator just say it was very difficult to lead all the way at Cartmel, think said just one horse had done it last couple of days, always a chance of another one though.
By:
You were right about that stewarts. Went out like a light. Two of Mcains horses ran like damp squibs today.
By:
7.00 Ffos Las_ Friary Land Win
Good Luck All |
By:
Going for Tuesday ew in the Oaks. I saw Emily Upjohn at York and wondered if the undulations at Epsom would suit. Also, she could get worked up in the preliminaries - even with Frankie aboard. At 9/1 and with classic form Tuesday looks too big a price.
By:
Good luck Scrabbler looks to have a great EW chance, i'm going for Revich in the 2.35 Epsom EW, will need to run his best to win from 95 but has won over 7fs here as a 3 yo and a Chester specialist, but has won and ran well on more conventional courses like Newbury (Spring Cup) and Ayr. Spencer has replaced the over hyped H Davies with big race jockey Crowley, think will go close.
By:
I see EEB had a selection yesterday, not to be this time EEB, never mind, every good run comes to an end unfortunately.
By:
good luck today guys
![]() unlucky EEB but difficult to keep posting winner after winner |
By:
Went up to casualty with a nasty rash this morning and guess what the nurses name was that looked after me?.....Tuesday !!
![]() |
By:
should take her out for a ruby acey!
By:
good run there Stew, didnt look entirely happy on the track but ultimately bumped into one that was ''expected''
nice ew pts though ![]() |
By:
Good 2nd Stew. Winner looked to have a bit in hand.
By:
Well done Scrabbler. Good points, just a pity Humbugs picked the same bet.
