Thank you FOYLES, stewarts.
With any luck that should seal this round for us. |

Well done chaps on some sound tipping.

By:
great stuff Barstool (again) sorry about my pick (again), unlucky Stew
I'm going for new strategy next week and avoiding Saturdays might just go short sometime to ensure pts to keep others at bay but we'll see what pans out. |

It looks like MINELLA VOUCHER Ffos Las 4.40 has been brought to the boil for the long distance chase this afternoon. Came back this spring with two freshners over hurdles, both inadequte trips, then given an outing over fences at Taunton (3m) five weeks ago off 91 which should now have him spot on for this. The handicapper dropped him a very generous 5lbs for that run and he gets in this off 86 with the added bonus of a 5lb claimer on board. Philip AArmson has had just three rides for the yard producing a winner and a second from them. Soff effectively 13lb below his last winning mark his chane is there for all to see.
Has to give a few years to its rivals but the old boy looks fresh and ready for a big run. I was out watching Cricket all afternnon yesterday and so very annoyed at missing the ridiculous early 10/1 offered by 365. So have had a decent bet on here at 7.00 and hoping for a nice return. Lets hope for a big run. |

Should have added that the yard as Cry Wolf in the 3.30, very simalar credentials and a double would not surprise. 6/1 & 9/1 wiyh Hills.
Good Luck. |
|
By:
Beware, been raining, ground migt be a tad soft for Cry Wolf. Won't bother the selection.
|
|
By:
Going mattered not a jot. Won 5lengths at 11/4.
Come on Minella. |
|
By:
Second alas.
Went 4/1 on in running going 3 lengths clear over the second last onlt to get done by a Cristian Williams horse on the run in. That guy can really train staying chasers. Good luck for the rest of the week team. |

unlucky Barstool out with dog so havent seen race, well done with earlier one

Very bad luck Barstool nearly another cracking double.
Our nearest persuers have had 2 losers so far this week. |
|
By:
Thanks NeC & stewarts. Perhaps pay to go for the bigger priced one in future if I fancy two on the day.
Don't know if you have noticed but there is a horse having it's first run in a handicap at Hexham this evening (in a chase 87 off with a 3lb claimerup). Horse had two point to points in Ireland, in the second of them was third, albeit a long way, behind the Willie Mullins trained Minella Crooner rated 147 now. That form is a stone or more anything in this race as acomplished. If you fancy a nibble 7/1 is a very good price imho. (Strike of Lighting 8.03 race) |
|
By:
5 pts ew Bird On The Wire 5.33 Hexham The three at the head of the market look much of a muchness having run in the same race last time. I like the conditional of McCain's and I think the price is too big - as big as 10/1 with bet365.

gl Scrabbler, thanks for insight into Strike of Lighting Barstool will have a look later on when I get back from dog-walking duties

Looked at your fancy Barstool, you know more than me about low class jumpers, but cant see much to recommend it myself, hope you're right if punting it, good luck.

wd Scrabbler good priced placer

Thanks scrabbler, nice points in our position.

Somewhere Secret 2.10 Ayr 5pts EW.
Usually runs best on Soft ground over 6fs and has dropped to a mark he has won from a number of times, can never be sure when he's going to pop up and can't leave him at 16/1 or higher. I do think the fav has a great chance on recent irish form but hopefully SS can at least get a place. |
|
By:
Stayed on well on the soft ground to get 2nd after leading and dropping to 4th, 18/1 so at least 23 more pts.

Great placer Stew more points on board

Well done stew. These points for places make the other teams find a big priced winner.

By:
Have been out all day. Glad to see some more points.
Well done Stewarts. |
|
By:
valley mist 6.05 ..chelmsford .e.w . dont really like putting em up each way when this type of price but theres an odds on fav so prob wise to. well bred debutante by dubawai yard in hot form 7 from 20 35% fav won last time but has a penalty and this filly recieves weight from all of them ,might be significant they take on the colts with her .

picked the wrong godolphin one
|
|
By:
unlucky Foyles as you say wrong godolphin one - difficult yard to predict when they have multiple entries in a race
|
|
By:
Sorry time is tight - but gone 5ew Spanish Star 2.45 Goodwood
good course record and hopeful of at least a place here |
|
By:
Got 3rd so 12pts more to total - ran into a typical Haggas handicap blot and antics prior to start didnt help
but we're in a good position going into Saturday. If anybody wants to ready a wildcard for tomorrow in case Workrider doesn't post that would be great. I am out from about 2.00 tomorrow afternoon so will look in prior to that. |

Nice tipping nec.

Well done NeC.
Will have a good look and if I fancy one I will put it forward for selection. |
|
By:
Possible reserve selection.
HAYADH. Musselburgh 3.38 Has left the Bastiman yard and will improve now in the hands of Ollie Pears. Had a nice outing at Beverley the other day, not hard ridden at all, will come on for the run. Dropped a couple of pounds for that and half a stone under it's last winning mark.Ben Robinson is a go to for the yard. Should be a decent price and worth considering as a reserve to win or ew if tactically cosidered best way to go. Leave everything in the Captains hands and good luck to those yet to play. |
|
By:
Sticking with The Wonder kid Today guys....Night On Earth 2.55 York 5pts each way.....Good luck Today.

|
By:
gl acey no sign yet of EEB but still a while to go.
If he or Workrider don't turn up by say 2.45 can someone post Barstool's wildcard lets just go ew as tough enough race and a few extra pts could be an insurance policy in case one of the other teams hit a biggie I will suggest a back-up in case EEB is a no-show but he hasnt let us down yet but if anybody else has a selection please feel free to post it up. |
|
By:
Ok if we need a wildcard my suggestion is Dirtyoldtown ew in 2.35 Haydock
Stable struggling for winners but went close at Catterick to snapping losing run and indeed earlier in week. The form of that Muss race working out well and reopposes Spirit Catcher on 2lb better terms for 1/2l though SC had fitness advantage, 3rd and 4th have both won by 3L and 4l nto at Newmarket and Ascot 5th went close in a 16k handicap at HQ on next run, Dirtyoldtown has only raced 4 times and one of them was a GRP3 (outclassed) though that was hot race for grade, won a maiden by 4l from a improving Varian hcapper, fav here could by a Gosden group/listed horse masquerading as a handicapper but still has to prove it imo, G.Tuers charge has a big ew chance on a typically tough Saturday. gl chaps |

I am going for 3.25 Third Realm Win
