Shanelee1966,
I hope I’m posting my first tip for the Lucky Pins on the right thread? If not, maybe someone can put up the correct URL for me to bookmark. Thanks. Newmarket 25th 3:00 Perfect Power |

Happy, are you aware that we are £124 behind, and the only way we can get more points is by making up that gap?
|
|
By:
Thanks Shanelee1966 I’ve now got it bookmarked.
DD, Wish you had told me earlier we just needed a 125/1. ![]() |

Good luck today chaps
I've chanced Irish Admiral and Zozimus EW on my notebook thread in the Cambridgeshire Going to let the prices dictate the pick for this: Zozimus, on the nose, currently around a 40-1 poke. Zozimus hasn't offered much in two starts since returning from over four months off, but he might have needed the runs, and he's of interest on his run off a 3lb higher mark at Leopardstown in April (10f, good), when finishing fourth in a race won by Sir Lamorak, who was beaten a neck on his next start at Royal Ascot in the King George V Handicap. The second horse was Bear Story, who has run well in defeat since on turf and was a well backed winner of a Group 3 at Dundalk last night. I thought the effort of Zozimus probably wanted marking up given the other principals came from off the pace, and he'd been keen enough. It could be that a well run race at this 9f trip could suit on that evidence. Zozimus obviously has to get back to something like that April form to stand any chance in this, and quick ground is a query for him, but interesting that Joseph O'Brien is running him here, with Wayne Lordan booked. |

The King's Steed - 5.30 Chelmsford win
Was going to go for something shorter but no point now. Got a decent Chelmsford record so worth a go at a big price. Best of luck all |

Absolute bummer. I had forgotten it was a win selection. Each-way would more than likely would have cemented an incredible comeback.
Well done to happy and dunter1. Mine was probably drawn on the wrong side, but no real excuse when you are beaten at halfway. |
|
By:
Well done Happy & Dunter.
Turned out the debacle of me not taking mine EW didn't cost us the win after all. |
|
By:
It looks like we ended up well beaten, but the difference if you swapped the each-way and win on the 25/1 and 100/1, would have been 230.
Let's hope we can get a big score when the 6 points are at stake. |

Then it would have been a different scenario and perhaps we wouldn't have been looking to a competitive handicap like the Cambridgeshire to try and find a decent priced winner. We were massively up against it once the Shrewdies kicked off with a 40-1 winner, with a further seven picks to play. Shane's winner gave us a lifeline, but it wasn't to be. We move on...
Watching the Cambridgeshire back this morning, it definitely didn't pan out well for Irish Admiral, who had a tricky draw anyway, ended up on the "wrong" side, didn't get any cover and was in the heat of the battle from some way out. Unsurprisingly didn't see it out. Good luck this week. |

Good afternoon Guys
Firstly, welcome to Dunter, i scrolled throygh the complete thread earlier. ![]() As George stated, we were up against it from day one with Chavmans selection winning (kudos to him) and although our Captain made an equally decent choice, others (including me) didn't perform but it's not easy trying to find long priced outsiders. Nevertheless, we didnt do badly and it's all about getting in the top 4 to reach the semis. Good luck next week. |

win only Good luck if anyone else plays today. |

By:
Good luck Shane.
Obviously, this is our most important week with potentially 6 points up for grabs. We need to try and stay in the top four. At this stage no extra prizes for finishing any higher. |

I`ve not been as ambitious today as i normally am.
|
|
By:
It looks difficult enough to me.
Personally, I would like to be picking some jumpers, but not many meetings, and not many runners with the quick ground. |
|
By:
Good luck Shanelee.

Bad luck Shane. As I said on the main thread it was hard to tell who wanted it least.
