I think it took us about 10 weeks to get going last time, so fingers crossed we can get out of the blocks a bit quicker this time.

It's effectively the same competition with less weeks, and you can't duplicate an opponents selection. So if you are waiting all week for one horse probably best get in early. Obviously, if the opposition does land a big one early in week it does increase the pressure with only a week to drag it back.

Always trying and all weather ****, what a combination. Obviously, not very confident as he went each-way. Seriously, you might get one 40/1 winner a year, and we have just ended up on the wrong end of it. So we have the choice between 8 shots at a 25/1 shot, which still might not be enough, or try and salvage 1 point by getting 100+. Perhaps the skipper can offer some advice on this very unfortunate turn of events?

johnston landed one earlier without recent form on the card,the horse had ability albeit not recent and franny stayed on for the last race out of stall 1...worth a punt

I seem to recall custard famously getting a 100-1 shot placed in last year's Cambridgeshire.

I`ve decided to play today. It`s been running well at the track from a higher mark in the past.

Has won a few times off its current mark too. Should be around 33`s

The opposition doesn`t look too much to worry about either, famous last words

Trainer has a great strike rate with just one runner too.
