Not a great lot to choose from tomorrow, looking at:
Melgate Majeure in the 5.00 Wolves currently 8/1, back down to a Class 6 having ran well last time out over a longer distance at Newcastle, the booking of Hollie is a massive plus, its the first time she has ridden for either Danny Brooke or his mother Julia that I know of, although she did ride him when trained by Easterby. He has won over a similar distance so has each way hopes in a race where the Fav could be anything, first run for new stable since leaving France. 3.20 Fontwell Windance, I've backed this one at 15/8 and can see a big run again, won so nicely last time out going away, up 7lb for that and up in class but that was his first run in a Handicap and surely more to come? Ran just four days ago and the 7lb penalty hopefully wont be enough to stop him going in again tomorrow. 4.10 Edgar Wallace finished second last time out, 18 lengths in front of a 133 rated horse (level weights) and the form had a boost when the winner went on to finish 4th in a Grade 2 Handicap Hurdle at Sandown carrying top weight and the 4th and 5th went on to win next time out in a couple of Novice Hurdles, thinking here is that although this is a Novices Hurdle his mark of just seems to underrate him hence the price of 7/2, the fav Interconnected could of course be anything but the way he carried his head last time out when 2nd after a long long lay off suggested he may not be entirely straight forward, but the move from Henderson to Skelton is a good one. Rhubarb Bikini looks over priced in the 6.30 at 25/1 but first time up for new stable, goes well fresh though for ew claims. One of those poor horse will be tomorrows attempt! |

Well done Plat. I knew she wouldn't let you down. I had AP on her at a nice price so I was very happy to see her win so nicely.
Noc had a very good Chelters but I noticed he didn't put one of his winners up for the team? You will be cleaning the changing rooms if you don't put one up today Noc!  Good luck those to play today. Lets try and put a few more points on the board to give us a chance for next week. |

There is one of Jonjos in the 1.45 at Ludlow that I wouldnt lay, will see how the market speaks just before the off before deciding whether to put it up or not.

Backed from 3/1 to 5/2 just before the off, still a straight win bet so 35 points should should move us up the table a little, 40 would have been better!!. |

Taken 2/1 about one for tomorrow, I'll be out in the field all day with lambing now in full swing, good luck to anyone else that may be playing tomorrow, will look in tomorrow afternoon and decide whether its a bet for the comp or not.

Keep plugging away EEB & Sonny, the winners will come. I'm sure you will double your tally soom, SS. Talking of winners, its about time your captain put one on the board. I've put a few EW points on it but now I need to step up and put up a winner. Yeah, we certainly have a good team spirit within the group and I'm always available for a bit of advice if needed. I think its myself, Noc and Swad to go.....GL chaps! |
