I've joined Cleeve Hill Mob skipper, good luck with your team again.
By:
Yeah, I just noticed this. Btw, well done with your first selection, I'm sure it won't be your last winner in the comp. We will just have to accept that a former team mate will be doing the business for a rival team!
I wish you a fun and profitable season, Stu. |
By:
ul east, hard to find winners in handicaps but that was defiantly a prep race if I ever saw one ie it was just out for a jog
![]() Sad to see you go stu ![]() This team needs knowledge race readers and you are one the cleeves are lucky to have you |

good swerve Swad. There will be another day for that one

Hi Shrewdies, just having a nosey and see that east end boy made a selection, or thought he had.
If needs to go on the Selections thread, or at least my news and scores thread, for it to be valid, so you get another pop ![]() |
By:
Yes, just noticed this Undecided. I will let him know his selections have to be added to the official selections thread for them to count.
Also EEB can you put the meeting and team name(Shrewdies) when you post your selection. Cheers. |

Had a look at Spirituoso 4:25 Lingfield, that race wont take much winning but really put off by the fact it hangs in left. The rail at Lingfield has been completly and utterly dead for a long time there.

Just had a winner in the 1.15 at 16/5 should have gone win as the price crashed.still returned about 30 and winning start and all that

Nice one chav

I'll be posting my selection tomorrow I think
By:
Nice one Chav! I'm very sweet on one today. I'm on at 5/2 which I think is decent value. I think the horse could well replace the fav at the top of the market come post time. So I'm not sure I want to select such a shortie. It runs in the Hunter Chase at Wincanton.
By:
Yeah I was thinking of posting the fav up in the naps comp, but its a coin flip that one, like them both
By:
Just think this drop into hunter chase grade, drying ground, front runners track and most importantly this trip, which is spot on for the horse. The fav has to prove he's as good at this trip and retains the same ability now he's a 12yo.
I think Dashing could end up going for the Foxhunters at Aintree if all goes well here. |
By:
Well backed but couldn't get to the front.
By:
I think what should have put me off the original fav was the 355 days of the track
Unlucky whippin I think the winner will probably win again after the run as well |
By:
Far too short to put up but I was happy with the price I got this morning. Yeah, winner has returned full of enthusiasm but you really shouldn't let Miss Frost have a freebie from the front end!

Nice one Chavman

Gonna stick Nocte Valatus up in the 3:40 Taunton EW shot, keeps dropping in the weights and is getting closer on previous form, Richard Johnson on as well

GL SS.
I'm also gunna give one a go today its pretty speculative, but I'm making lack of selections at the moment so may not have a better chance before Sunday. 1:40 Southwell - ASAMOSA E/W Notes from Kemp run: Not trying hard at all Kemp debut, rough start, caught far to far back to do anything, beaten 12L by what looks like very handy horses (90 rated), this one could be anything, will come on for that run not knocked around. Have my concerns about Southwell for this one, dont think itll be up there early, hard to pick horses off at the venue. This is a weak enough race though and if it can race to a mark of 70-75 off a light weight compared to the older horses/previous winners it will have a chance. |
By:
Well i have a second chance. I have posted in the right place this time i hope. I have gone for Colour of light in the 4.50.
By:
PS oioi Chav, just seen this race now, WD
By:
Mine 4th off 11 just out of the places but beaten an absolute mile.
By:
Not to worry we'll get some points
![]() Not a good start but there's plenty of time ![]() |
By:
UL east beaten a head but it ran a good race at least
By:
Afternoon everyone. I fancy the unexposed Pogue in the 3.25 at Doncaster this afternoon, this looks an easier Class 3 than he was in last time, just wish we could lay him off inrunnig, bound to lead all the way and will hopefully hold on.

Didnt jump at all

Dragged its back legs through a lot of them, usually means a back problem!

Hard lines Plat.
Just tomorrow left then better get my skates on. Beer is on the table, wine to follow and a bit of AC/DC blasting out in the background, just loud enough to drown out the monster in law. |
By:
Hopefully you and Whip can join Chavvers in the winners circle tomorrow tiger
Be nice to join that in this comp at some point ![]() |
By:
SS, your efforts will be rewarded in due course, of this I have no doubt, rock on dude.

Seven cans in and the first one to pop up is Aso in the 2.40 at Kelso, has a very hand weight pull with the likely favourite for being beaten just a neck or so last time out. Placed in the Ryanair twice and could just be returning to form, 4.2 and 4.3 taken with a view to a free bet tomorrow, the Jonjo horse could spoil the party but its one on the list.
By:
In the 1.30 Kelso, why doesn't My Drogo have a Cheltenham entry? The best form on offer by some way, very strange, drifting too, 2.8 looks too high to me. He's giving weight away to a couple with higher ratings but the potential for improvement is there for all to see, keeping him for Aintree maybe?
By:
Now then, to the thundering rhythm of Metallica and Enter Sandman, Scarlet and Dove 2.88 for the 15.58, really? Looked to me to be going at least as strong as the winner when coming to grief 2 out in a Grade 2 Mares Novices at Thurles, the winner Colreevy finishing 22 lengths in front of a 137 horse and giving him 7 lb as well, reads well for Scarlet and Dove imo, getting weight off the geldings tomorrow with the highest of them rated 138, and the one that's not rated as yet, Sempo, would be around the 132 mark imo. Price taken, I can feel another freebie coming my way tomorrow, sure to shorten up this one?
By:
Pure speculation but Night Edition in the 3.15 could develop into another freebie, second at the festival last year (Fred Winter), albeit against other 4 year olds, he's been awful in 2 races against his elders this season, both good races but way down the filed, not given a hard time though and at 20/1 tomorrow fromm 22 and 27 on here, who knows, down in Class and still entered into 2 festival races, maybe the stable is plotting one??? Makes it a worthwhile speculative bet for now, could be an easy lay orf for a freebie, we will see.
By:
I'm not sure if Sant Rossa appeals as a betting proposition in the 14.13 over the water but the 7 year old certainly has the best form on offer by some way, the Mullins hotpot maybe a hotpot after the race but the form of her races to date doesn't look quite good enough to be an odds on shot, all cans gone, wine is now flowing.....time to put the form boo to sleep maybe
