Another miserable performance. Horrendous trip, fell out the stalls and scenic route. The market knew far more than me.
Really annoying because I have had two good winning days and have ended up putting that one up. Good luck to everyone else. |

Woeful from mine, who I had reason to believe could take a step forward switching to the AW.
She was lugged right on the bend and then stopped to nothing and dropped right out, but I've just read in the RP form comments that she actually burst a blood vessel. Oh well, sh*t happens ![]() |

Race 8 - 5:35pm
THE SKY SPORTS RACING HD VIRGIN 535 HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 6) Following the race, David Probert reported that KANGAROO POINT (IRE), placed fourth, was never travelling. The Veterinary Officer reported that COLD LIGHT OF DAY, unplaced, bled from the nose. I think your selection should be deemed a NR when that happens ![]() |

Needed more of a gallop and probably bit to high in handicap , but the price was too big to let go.
Best of luck to those remaining to go this week. |

GEORGE.B 28 Aug 20 18:29
I've gone for Engrave EW, 6.30 Newmarket GEORGE.B 28 Aug 20 18:46 I thought she was worth chancing based on her penultimate third, and wondered if ease in the ground might help being by Dark Angel, with a promising 7lb claimer on, but no, poor. She'll probably win one on the AW during the winter, not that it's going to help our score. Well I said "probably during the winter", but no, comes out next run, halves in price from the morning odds of 14-1 and in she goes ![]() |

Unlucky Happy, beaten a head.
It's not the Pins lucky week, hopefully Custard Cream and i can save our faces tomorrow. It's either the Ayr Gold Cup for points or a Hannon 2 year old to prevent a Whitewash. ![]() |

Bad luck Happy. It looked to me the jock accepted he was getting outstayed before deciding to have another crack and running out of track. More conviction and I think he would have won.

Good morning Guys
My fancies in the Ayr sprints were Atalanta's Boy and Soldiers Minute, but these races are notoriously difficult at times as we all know. Let's hope that CC is a better judge than me, even a place would be a nice haul of points. Good luck Custard. I'm going for a win selection with a couple that are both around the 5/2, i just need to find a coin. ![]() |

Good luck today. I think we would take second now if we could. Only 3/25 scores in the competition this week but have to think that is unlikely to continue.

Good luck Andrew and cc , any points would be very welcome.

Sadly, not to be again.
I keep hoping it is going to turn but not happened so far. At least the salvage job in the first week has kept us in overall contention. Next two rounds will probably decide whether we have any chance of retaining the title. On a personal note it is hugely frustrating putting up so much rubbish. It is only 6 selections but it seems like 20. Made doubly frustrating by my own betting going really well. It sometimes feels like I am more disappointed with this than actually pleased in winning real money. Good luck this week. Fingers crossed we can start the recovery. |

Many will have the same frustrations dd.
We stand as a team, win as a team, fall & lose as a team. Points will flow more freely this round ![]() |

Good morning Guys
Probably a week to forget for all of us, but these things happen, it is horse racing after all. We're still in the running and everything to play for. We were champions before and can be champions again, so let's move on. Good luck to all this week. |
