Given the latter makes up 80% of the viewing public that makes her safe for certain

i think Rebecca's an outside bet for bottom 2. Don't think she'll actually be bottom 2 but not THAT much of a surprise. |

I'm not sure how seriously you can take Wagner's Twitter scores. By voting for him you're making a contrarian, rebellious statement, and there's no point in keeping it to yourself. You're bound to go on Twitter to tell the world how clever and ironic you are.

uve neen told mary and cher bottom 2
By:
Eliminations for me so far have been taking a position re wagner and paije. I think Biffa has made sure wagner is safe (and the polls reflect that)and paije could just have done enough. That means there has to be value out there somewhere.
By:
Cheers cider I'll take a look at that.
By:
On Cher quite large at average of 35, I've covered Wagnar and Paige too. I really think Katie did enough to avoid the B2.
Tiny bit on Rebecca too, just in case its Cher and her in B2. Thing is with Cher I would much rather bet her bottom 2 than elimination, I think its pretty certain she stays 3-1 vs Wagnar and Paige. |
By:
I wouldn't be surprised if it went to the pv on both cases.
Louis to save Paije and Cowell to save Wagner to wind up Cheryl and Danni. |
By:
A couple of firms betting on bottom 2 364 and skye nothing majorly stands out perhaps the 7/2 Cher is the bet for me if I could.
By:
I'm with George - the value has to be opposing Wagner and Paije. Even the Weasel could be OK after last night's performance (7s is perhaps good value for first name to be called safe?!).
So that makes Cher in particular, but even Rebecca, both value bets for the bottom two. |

Spot on, well done

Cheers jack.
I did feel last week was a warning to the Cher fans that marmite can't win these shows. |
By:
And sometimes marmite can and can't keep you out of the bottom two; funny stuff that marmite [;)]
By:
Can't complain about that. Spot on again....
Was on Cher for bottom two but wish I'd taken your advice on Paije! ![]() The fact that he'd been in the graveyard slot twice with no bottom two appearance swayed me... |
By:
Cheers Dizzy.
I wish I'd taken my advice as I had Paije red when the lines closed. I just kept piling in on Cher. Also laid Katie who looked well safe on all measures. A small win in the end so can't complain, but still waiting for the big one. 1D maybe ;) |

Great call fll. Have to admit the accuracy of twitter stats this year have been truly remarkable. Got my finger burnt over a couple of reality series and gave up on them but shouldn't have.
Twitter also remains a fantastic tool to dip in to test the water e.g. confirmed that Biffa had made wagner even safer. |

tough week this one
tight market |
By:
Twitter search fvcked up this week so there may not be any stats.
By:
can we draw our own conclusions from that then
![]() |
By:
Yep.
My conclusion is twitter need a better server. It is sort of working now. |
By:
is your search not automated figgy?
By:
Katie is shortening, there could be a shock here, certainly worth a small trade
By:
I do it manually Tut.
When you search for say 'cher' only 3 come up rather than a whole page and 2 of those are 6 days old, Surely she's more popular than that ![]() It's the same for others too. |
By:
hmm...maybe some kind of caching issue on twitter. It might be worth writing a macro/program to do it though to save some time :).
On Facebook pages people seem to be raving over Matt |
By:
Does it work any better if you search via google updates perhaps?
By:
Did Matt break Twitter? Naughty boy...
By:
Here are the stats -
Matt 286 (+173) 1D 227 (-90) Rebecca 93 (+25) Cher 77 (+44) Wagner 55 (+7) Katie 46 (-17) Mary 40 (-32) |
By:
hmm..what do you make of them 5 leaves...i backed katie and mary for tenth eviction..should i feel safe?
By:
Katie the most likely to be bottom for me, given Mary's regional vote.
Rebecca looks safe, but have backed her just incase. 1D down for the 2nd week running. If they're losing support amongst the loony teenage girls on twitter then they must be struggling, so I've backed them too. |
By:
Cheers fig. Great stuff
I had of course already backed the right ones ;-) |
By:
Yeah not much love for Mary on twitter; hardly anything. Initial poll results mirror bottom two.
By:
tbh though, she's rarely attracted the twitterati
By:
True GB so as always it will be trying to factor in the casual older viewers. Personally I thought she was ok tonight. Gave it a bit of large and vocally was as good as any.
By:
Cher's still very low considering that, prior to last week, twitter was her stronghold.
By:
ok is not enough for Mary I feel GB2
Only survives vs Wag in sing off I feel |
By:
I feel ;-)
By:
Mary was excellent in her 1st song, pants in the 2nd
By:
Probably worth noting that Mary winning the xfactor is the only thing Ireland has going for it at the moment.
By:
Other way around might have been ok
By:
Can't take too much notice of these 'stats' imo.
Wagner was trending all night. #teamwagner, wagners, wagbo. There were also 'positives' from people like Myleene Klass and others who had previously disliked him. |
